The rumors about Jeremy's bankruptcy and fall from grace also began to increase.
After this press conference, many people were waiting for Jeremy's response.
However, his Twitter was never updated, and it was not even known when his press conference would take place.
After it was done, Elsa told Lui that she was going to meet with the Old Master. Lui was not happy with her going to the Callahan Manor, but he did not stop her.
When Elsa arrived, she was greeted by a shouting Lorna. "How dare you show your face here after what you did to Jeremy? You bitch, I will kill you today!"
She raised her hand to slap Elsa, but she grabbed it just before it could touch her face.
"I don't have time for your shenanigans today. Now leave me alone. I did not come to see you."
Before Lorna could say anything else, Elsa threw her hand away, walked past her, and went upstairs. She knocked gently on the Old Master's bedroom door.
"Come right in," Elsa heard the Old Master's voice say.
She opened the door slowly and walked in. When she did, she found the Old Master seated on his bed, and Jeremy was seated on a couch opposite him.
Elsa did not expect to find Jeremy there, but she ignored him and went to hug the Old Master.
She then sat next to him and asked, "Are you mad at me, Grandpa? For what I did?"
The Old Master gave her a warm smile. "Silly girl, your grandfather is not mad at you, nor does he blame you. I'm just happy to see you okay."
Elsa did not expect that. She had come here thinking she was going to get a scolding, but the Old Master was still very kind to her.
Elsa was speechless and did not know what to say at that time.
"I called you here because I missed you and wanted to spend some time with you," the Old Master said. After he spoke, he glanced at the clock on the wall. "Oh, it's time for me to take my medicine. I'll be back."
Seeing the Old Master get up, Elsa wanted to follow him to avoid being left alone with Jeremy. "Grandpa, let me come with you and help you."
But Old Master Callahan immediately stopped her. "No, no... You wait for me here. I'll be back soon."
