Elsa let Jeremy hold her in his arms until he fell asleep, and afterwards, she stared at him quietly.
He looked so innocent when he slept, like a little boy. He appeared happy, peaceful, and gentle.
Elsa wondered how Jeremy could seem so cold when he was awake, but so gentle when he was asleep.
With only a few days left before they would separate, Elsa felt relieved.

Jeremy and Elsa stayed in his office all day until evening when they went home.
That evening, Jeremy played with Braden, and they seemed closer than before.
You could see a connection between them, and their conversation was no longer limited to three sentences.

The next day, Jeremy felt that Elsa had overslept and woke her up after he got ready so they could go to the office together. However, Elsa told him she had a stomach ache which was making her feel unwell, so she didn't want to go to the office that day.
Jeremy worried about her and brought her breakfast in bed, along with some painkillers for her stomachache.
He asked the housekeeper to keep an eye on Elsa for him when he was at the office. He placed a kiss on Elsa's temples before covering her with a duvet up to her shoulders, and then left for work.

As he drove to work, his mind was on Elsa. So much so, he almost crashed into a car that suddenly stopped in front of him, blocking his path.
Jeremy first thought it was a mistake until he saw the door on the driver's side open and someone walking out of the car.
When Jeremy saw who it was, he immediately got out of his car quickly.
"Jeremy, you're okay.... Thank God," Victoria sighed with relief. "I didn't mean to shoot you, Jeremy. I swear to you. Please forgive me for that."
She started crying immediately.
But then she got scared when she saw Jeremy's expression not changing. He was charging at her like he wanted to kill her.
She started to worry.
"J-Jeremy, I only stopped your car because I wanted to see you. I miss you so much... You know?" Victoria was still trying to use the soft approach on him.
However, it was evident that it would not work.
She looked at the man in front of her as she trembled. Her face was pale, making her already haggard face look even more hideous.
