Haerin and I ended going to investigate Jin's house.
Only problem was that....
The door was locked from the inside.
"Jin, are you sure your parents were right behind you?" Haerin softly asked Jin.
"Mhm, we walking down the stairs and mom said I could walk ahead as long as she could see me," Jin answered her.
Haerin and I looked at each other a bit confused.
We knew that it was dangerous to linger around.
If something really had happened, wasting time like this could cause us to put Jin in danger, but we couldn't just leave without making sure his parents hadn't just randomly abandoned him.
I slowly leaned over to Haerin, and whispered.... "Turn around and cover his ears".
Haerin nodded and did as I asked.
I quickly grabbed the door handle and ripped it out of the door.
Haerin and Jin were still turned around, trying to look at something, so I walked in just to make sure there wasn't an intruder in the house.
Quick enough...
I found out that it was best to take Jin elsewhere.

My eye began to scan the area.
