Sion pov: I was walking off, needing to cool off since Ciel got rid of my only way to get information... I'm frustrated

"Sion darling!" Ries said that as she caught up to me, she hugged me from behind.

"You need to put your subordinates on a leash." I mumbled

"I'm sorry, sweetie. I didn't know we were being followed!" Riesbyfe stated

"We don't have time to waste all our time. War could start any time now, and we don't know when or how it will happen!" I yelled

"Sion, are you angry because it's your father?" Ries asked

"Yes, I'm frustrated because my father has turned into a monster, but at the same time, he still is my father, and it's my responsibility, but I feel like I know less about it than everyone else," I said.

"Sion!!" Sacchin called out; she landed next to me, and she grabbed onto me. "We will figure this out, I promise!"

I smiled a bit knowing I have these two "I'm sure you will help me" I said

What is going to happen in the near future when war does come? This can't be good.

"We should prepare," Ries said.

"We can't prepare..." I replied

We don't know what is coming, my father, Nrvnqsr, Altrouge, and some of the dead apostles. This isn't good at all, and we can't sleep on this.

"What if we can get some information about this battle before it happens?" Sacchin asked

"How would we get that info Nrvnqsr is gone, and we can't get him here again. We lost our lead," I mumbled.

"We may have lost our lead, but we haven't lost hope; we have to figure this out," Ries said.

"We have to figure this out. We can't do that; it isn't going to work out. This never will. I don't think we can handle this," I said.

"Look, Sion, you can figure this out. Are you trying to give your father an extra chance and hope he will change in the future if you maybe hold out on him?" Ries asked

"Yes, I hope my father can change. He was a good man. He loved me. I loved him. I can't stand seeing him be like this. A villain isn't right. His quest for the philosopher stone drove him mad, and I'm afraid that the same will happen to me," I said.

"Sion, if you think you can't handle this, maybe we can give up our search." Sacchin suggested

"No you want to become human again and I won't give up on you because I love you!" I mentioned

"Sion, but if you think that you will be driven mad, I don't want you to focus on this. You need to be here for me and Ries. If you aren't here, we can't be the back alley alliance, and I would rather us be together than be human again," she said.

"But sunlight, you loved sunlight; you wrote that to me, and as a vampire, you will never be able to soak in it." I said

Sacchin nodded. "But life gave me you," she replied.

"Sion, we know this is tough for you, but you just have to think more about it. You need to get over the past and realize you have to do this," Riesbyfe said.

"Yeah, he hurt you and stuff, but still, he is my father. I'm sure if he were still here mentally, he would support us both." I claimed

"Sion, you can't keep focusing on what ifs; we have to look forward. No matter what he did in the past, it doesn't make up for the torment he caused. Remember how he controlled Miyako, an innocent child?" Ries asked

"That is true, but at the same time, I keep thinking back to when my father found me and took me in. He treated me as his own; he loved me, looked after me, spoiled me, gave me a life. I can't look past everything and hate him!" I yelled

"Then don't! Soak in everything and move on from it."Sacchin said

"Moving on is difficult, though!" I told her, and I turned away from them, but they got in front of me.

"Look at what you still have!" Ries yelled I looked at the two girls in front of me, feeling a liquid stream down my face.

"Yo-You're crying?" Sacchin said it in shock and worry.

"It's okay, she needs to let this out." Ries told the smaller girl all my emotions were released right there, with the two of them witnessing my vulnerable state and not doing anything to harm me.

"I'm so sorry, I can't believe I'm acting like this!" I cried out.

"Sion, together we will end The Night of Wallachia and protect the memories of the father you remember; we won't let the present him tarnish your memories further." Ries said

"You two... I saw a vision of you dying. I can't let it happen. I know we said we would do this together, but at this point it is between you dying and-" I stopped mid-sentence as I realized there was nothing I could say or do about this.

"We don't have a choice but to fight; we would be trapped in this even without you, but even if my memories were wiped, I would still come to your aid," Ries said.

"Same, even if it kills us, we will fight with you until the very end!" Sacchin said

"You two are so good at persuading me. Alright, we will do this together," I said.

"Okay, then," Ries and Sacchin said in unison.

There is one thing that I'm worried about. Though my father has the ability to manifest people from memories, for example, he could in theory clone himself from my memories. This can be dangerous when he finally comes to attack. He may use the Tatari to make strong foes. We need to be ready for that when it comes.
