"Actually, uh, yeah. Turns out he, uh, he left some grace in me before he bolted." Sam says.

"You know how wrong that sounds, right?" Dean asks.

"Wouldn't worry about it. Cas took care of it." Sam says. Dean hums and chuckles. "What?"

"Nothing. I'm gone for two weeks, and you're like an episode of Teen Mom." Dean says. They hear Garth retching and coughing. "Just breathe, Garth! Work it out."

"What happened to your arm?" Sam asks.

"Oh." Dean pulls his sleeve up a bit, Miranda spotting some sort of mark or scar on his arm. "It's a... gift from Cain."

"Like... the wrestler?" Sam asks.

"I wish. That would be awesome. Uh, no. The, uh... the Old Testament dude." Dean says. "He got all Biblical on me and gave me his mark."

"What does that even mean? How-- how did that happen?" Sam asks.

"Crowley and I found him, and he gave me this so that I could eighty-six Abaddon once and for all." Dean says.

"You worked a job with Crowley?" Sam asks.

"The devil you know." Dean says.

"Garth." Sam says.

"What?" Dean asks. Miranda realizes no noise is coming from the bathroom. They rush in and find the window open.

"Son of a bitch." They rush out. They get outside and look in the parking lot, not finding him.

"Why would Garth run from us?" Dean asks.

"Why haven't we heard from him for the last six months? Did you test him?" Sam asks.

"He was unconscious. No, I--" Dean says.

"Oh, so you have no issue pumping him with drugs while he's unable to give consent, but a little cut and splashing some water on his face is out of the question?" Miranda remarks.

"He steal a car?" Dean asks.

"Did he... steal a car naked?" Sam asks, picking up Garth's hospital gown. Dean points to a security camera.

"I'll see what I can find on those cameras. Why don't you guys go talk to Farmer Brown, see about that cow?" Dean asks.

"Last week, it was a couple of chickens. Goat the week before that. So when I saw that boy tearing out of my barn, hell yeah, I was gonna ask questions later." The farmer says.

"Now, the animals -- were they all killed in the same manner?" Sam asks.

"More like sacrificed." The farmer says.

"What do you mean by that?" Sam asks.

"Their organs was ripped clean out."

"Only the organs?"

"If this wasn't some kind of devil worship thing, I don't know what."

"Mm. Well, thanks." Sam says.

+++

"Yeah." Dean answers the phone.

"So, the cow wasn't just killed. It was eviscerated." Sam says to Dean on the phone, having it on speaker.

"Well, why was Garth there?" Dean asks.

"He said he was on a hunt, right? Maybe he was hunting whatever killed it." Sam suggests.

"Why would he run? This whole thing's starting to stink. You know that, right?" Dean asks.

"Yeah. What about you? Any luck?" Sam asks.
