Sam wakes up to the bed moving around a bunch. At first, he assumes it's one of the kids getting into bed with him and Miranda,  but when a foot kicks him in the shin, he realizes it's Miranda.

Sam props himself up on his elbows, looking over at his wife, making out the terrified look on her face.

"Randi?" He softly calls, touching her arm, the woman immediately whining.

"No." She mumbles.

"Randi." He whispers, the woman starting to thrash around. "Miranda!"

Miranda jolts awake, looking around and making out the motel room. She breathes heavily, wiping her sweat coated forehead.

"Hey." Sam softly calls, rubbing her arm. "Hey. You okay?"

"What? Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine." She mumbles.

"You wanna talk about it?" Sam asks.

"No. No, I don't-- mm-mm." She shakes her head.

"Okay." Sam mumbles.

"I, uh... I'll-- I gotta go to the bathroom." She mumbles.

"Okay." Sam says, watching her go to the bathroom and shut the door. He quietly sighs and winces. She's had nightmares every night since she's been back, but always refuses to talk about it. He knows he can't complain or judge since he never instantly opens up either.

The family are at a farmer's market, Dean on his phone as he walks with them. Miranda is holding Serena and holding onto Wyatt's hand. Carly is sitting on Sam's shoulders, her chin resting on top of his head. Sam picks up a red apple and bites into it.

"Oranges." Carly requests. Sam grabs a couple of the oranges out of the basket, putting them in his bag.

"Wow. Guy goes to Purgatory for a year, all hell breaks loose. Check this out. A jogger in Minneapolis gets his heart ripped out." Dean says.

"I'm guessing literally?" Sam says, putting tomatoes in his bag.

"Only way that interests me. And then, there's another article from six months ago." Dean says. "Same thing happens, also in Minneapolis. What does that tell us?"

"Stay out of Minneapolis." Sam says. He hands the woman some money with a polite smile.

"Two hearts ganked, same city, six months apart. I mean, that's got to be a ritual, man. Or at least some sort of a heart sucking, possessed, satanic, crack whore bat." Dean says.

"A what?" Sam asks.

"It's a case. Look, I say we hang out the shingle again and ride." Dean says.

"We're on a case, Dean. Kevin and the demon tablet need to be found, so heart guy takes a number." Sam says.

"Uh, we just spent a week chasing our asses trying to lock Kevin down, okay? And look at us. We're--" Dean looks around. "Where the fuck are we?"

"Farmers' market." Sam holds his apple up. "Organic." Carly laughs at her dad talking to his brother like he's a four year old. Dean gives his brother a look. "What? I had a year off. I took the time to enjoy the good times."

"While avoiding doing what we actually do." Dean retorts.

"Wow, Dean, does it makes you feel that much better every time you say it?" Sam questions.

"All right, look, I get it. You took a year off to do yoga and play the lute, whatever, but I'm back. Okay, we're back, which means that we walk and kill monsters at the same time. We'll find Kevin. But in the meantime, do we ignore stuff like this? Or are innocent people supposed to die so that you can shop for produce?"
