CHAPTER 39
LONG NIGHT
Tiffany's POV
Silence engulfed the whole room while Law waited for my answer. I couldn't find my own voice as I stared into his eyes.
Bumaba ang tingin niya sa labi ko na tila naaakit siya rito. His hands squeezed the skin on my hips, reminding me that I had to make a decision now, otherwise he'd do it for us.
"I..." Sinubukan kong magsalita ngunit hindi ko magawa. I feel so nervous and overwhelmed with the tension between us.
I still couldn't believe I had somehow ended up in his bedroom. Wala ito sa plano ko nang pumayag akong maging date niya ngayong gabi. But here I am, about to submit myself to him.
Namumungay ang mga mata ni Law nang iniangat niya ang tingin niya pabalik sa mga mata ko.
"Are you having a hard time knowing what you want?"
Alam ko naman kung anong gusto ko. Hindi lang ako sigurado kung tama ba iyon.
"How about this..." Kinagat niya ang pangibabang labi niya at nagisip saglit. "Will you allow me to show you much I love you, Tiffany?" He corrected his previous question to make things easier for me. Kaso parang mas nahirapan ako sa tanong niya.
Can I once more accept Law into my life?
Is my heart healed enough to enter a new relationship?
Am I even allowed to date him already?
I don't see why not. I have no plans going back to my ex. And besides, Gael moved on first. If Awi was right that he's dating Alba now, doesn't that give me the right to be with someone else too? Kahit na wala pang kalahating taon mula nang maghiwalay kami, siguro naman hindi na kasalanan ang magmahal ulit ng iba?
I stared at Law's burning eyes. If I'm going to be honest to myself, I'd admit I feel something for this man. Hindi ko masyadong pinagtutuunan ng pansin dahil kakahiwalay lang namin ni Gael ngunit magsisinungaling naman ako kung sasabihin kong wala talaga akong nararamdaman para kay Law.
Maybe I never stopped loving this guy. I just forced myself to forget but my heart cannot fully do.
Without putting much thought into it, I wrapped my arms around Law's neck and crashed my lips into his. Napaungol siya at agad ibinalik ang mga halik ko. Our kiss was nothing like the ones we shared at the pub earlier. We were passionate and aggressive. Uhaw na uhaw sa isa't-isa. Sabik sa bawat hawak at halik.
Law's tongue explored my mouth like it was some kind of candy he needed to taste. His other hand grabbed my breast, massaging it through my thin silk dress. I can't help but moan loudly from the impeccable feeling I'm experiencing.
"I miss you," He whispered against our lips. Ngumiti ako at hinalikan siya ulit.
