THREE SECONDS

Tiffany's POV

"How do I look?" Kabado akong ngumiti habang ipinapakita kay Awi ang suot ko.

For the first time in a long time, I finally had the courage to wear a sexy black satin mini dress. It hugs my body very well and my cleavage is also noticeable because of the v-neck style, but it's still decent for my liking.

I was hesitant at first but heck, it's been a while since I felt good with my own skin. Wala naman na ang mga sugat sa katawan ko at hindi na kita ang naiwang peklat sa may balakang ko kaya confident na ulit akong magsuot ng ganito.

I'm just not sure if it's the right outfit for tonight...

"Maganda ba? Baka naman sobra 'tong itsura ko. Hindi naman bar 'yon."

"Are you kidding me? You're gorgeous, Tiff! Oh my gosh! Stop overthinking and just enjoy the party!"

Ngumiti ako at humarap ulit sa body mirror ko upang tingnan ang sarili ko. I wanted to make sure I look perfect.

Awi sat on my bed and watched me pick up my black high heels. Tumabi ako sa kanya upang suotin na iyon.

"I'm really happy you're going out with Law tonight," she mumbled. "That would only mean you've already moved on from Gael."

I paused and pursed my lips. "Hindi ko pa pala nabanggit sa'yo na nagpunta siya sa office kanina..."

"You don't have to tell me. I already know. Everyone's talking about it."

I sighed, feeling the stress all over again. "I can't believe he did that. What was he thinking?!"

Tumayo ako upang kunin ang hikaw kong nakapatong sa lamesa pagkatapos ay tumabi ulit ako sa kanya. Awi fixed my hair. Kinulot ko kasi iyon nang kaunti kaya sinigurado niyang ayos ang pagkakabagsak ng buhok ko.

"Obviously, he's not thinking straight. Have you heard from the security team how Gael ruined the trash cans outside the building? I was there. I saw it with my own two eyes! Nagmumura pa siya sa sobrang galit niya!"

I suddenly remembered how Gael raised his hands on me. I got chills all over my body just by thinking about it. Hindi talaga siya mapigilan tuwing mainit ang ulo niya...

"Why were you there? He could have hurt you, Awi."

"I was mad at him. Gusto ko siyang pagsabihan kaya sinundan ko siya. Pero hindi ako nakalapit dahil dumating na rin si Alba."

Of course, his bestfriend would be there. Palagi naman nilang kasama 'yon.

"Napigilan naman siya nila Tonton at Luis?"

Awi shook her head. "It was just Alba who came along."

Himala. Wala 'yung dalawa.

"I think they're dating. Narinig kong tinawag niyang mahal si Gael," pagpapatuloy ni Awi.

"What?!"
