Chapter 33:

Erza ran past Laxus without sparing him a glance.

Jellal was at her class and something didn't seem right to Erza.

He'd been the one who'd almost caught her in the boys' dressing room.

Erza inwardly sighed at how wrong that sounded.

All this because of a stupid dare.

The word brought Kinana's image to mind and immediately, the red head's mood brightened.

Erza was a big shipper of true love.

She slowed her pace and casually walked into the defence class, where Jellal stood leaning against the wall talking to Lucy and Kinana.

"Hello, Jellal."

"Hello, Ms. Scarlet," The boy gave her his swoon-worthy smile, "You seem to be in a hurry."

"Hurry?" Erza gave an effortless laugh, "Not at all."

She glanced at Lucy and Kinana, "Everything is just fine."

Kinana and Lucy gave her forced smiles.

Erza frowned before turning to Jellal who wore an amused expression as he watched her.

Erza prepared to ask him why he'd dropped by but was cut off by the boys' yelling.

"Erza!" Natsu yelled, "Check out how many of these metal thingies I've carried already!"

"Yeah," Gray yelled after him, "There are two less than the number I've gotten."

"No!"

"Yeah," Gray yelled back, "Count, Numbskull!"

"You count!"

"Keep countin'" Gajeel could be heard laughing.

"Excuse me," Erza told Jellal calmly to which the other boy responded with an amused smile.

Erza walked to the boys and tore them away from each other, "Enough!"

Gajeel just backed away.

Mirajane breathed a sigh of relief once she saw that Erza was back.

Things would go back to normal now.

As normal as it could get anyway...

She looked around the room.

Kinana and Lucy were whispering something to Levy.

Bisca was laughing hard as Erza gave Natsu, Gray and Gajeel a earful.

Aries stood shyly beside her green-haired, cow girl, friend.

Juvia was busy swooning over her crush who was presently on the verge of injury.

Jellal, Mirajane noticed, was watching the authoritative red head in the middle of the room.

Another person entered the room and the magnetic command he seemed to possess attracted Mira's attention immediately.

She already knew it would be the Head master's grandson.

Laxus Dreyar had a certain sophistication that was hard to ignore.

As Mirajane watched him stop next to Jellal, she wondered how things were between him and his grandfather.
