"Do you like me...?"

Start from the beginning

"Ah." She lets out,

"All right, well... uh, I'll—I'll see you in a bit." I tell her, moving onto the balcony and going to the right, I step down and into my room.

I'm in the kitchen, making myself something to eat and I glance to see Jenna leave my dad's office, she walks in and smiles, sitting on the counter.

"Hi." She greets me,

"Hey." I say in reply, glancing at her before focusing on making my food.

"Dude, are you deaf?" I hear Jenna ask me, sounding annoyed. I look around and see she's much closer than before, I shake my head, looking down on her.

"No."

"I asked you a question."

"That's nice." I reply, cutting up my sandwich then set the knife in the sink, "What's up?" I ask her, putting the sandwich on a plate.

"Are you okay?" She asks, aggressively. I nod my head.

"Mm-mm, you?"

"Yep." She replies, "Bye."

"See ya." I reply, walking away from her and when I head upstairs, I see her brings her hands up and let them fall against her thighs; she sighs and walks somewhere, I smile and head upstairs.

I'm about to go on my bike as my mom wants me to pick something up from town, I'm just wiping my bike clean at the moment. I glance around and see Jenna, staring at me while she has a journal in front of her, she stands up, picking her journal and pen up. She heads over toward me and stands beside me,

"Will you not be as bland as last time?"

"Not if you want me too." I reply, smiling sarcastically. She rolls her eyes and grabs my dad's bike, "That's—"

"Your dad's bike, I know, he told me I could borrow it whenever I needed it." She replies, speaking delicately. I nod my head and when I look at her, she doesn't move. I nudge her with my hip, seeing her look at me about to tell me off but I begin to clean my dad's bike for her. "Thank you." She mumbles quietly, "So where you headed? Maybe, we're going in the same direction."

"Where do you need to go?" I ask her,

"Just to the bank."

"Yeah, I... I gotta pick up an order for my mom, she—she needs, uh," I think for a moment, "shoot, I can't remember what it's called... uh, it's some medication. But I can direct you on where to go if you want?" I suggest, seeing her look at me and a small smile tug on her lips.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I mean where I'm headed is only a couple shops down." I reply, shrugging. I begin to clean the chains and when I'm done, I step back and look at her, "You should be good." I tell her, offering a small smile.

"Thanks, Y/n."

"No problem," I debate, saying her name. "Jenna." I say, softly. Testing to see how well it rolls off of my tongue, it feeling almost exciting to say. I feel her eyes focus on mines as I get onto my bike, grabbing my bag and putting it on my shoulders, I glance back, seeing her get on. "Follow me, Americano." I tell her to do, earning a small laugh. I smile as I begin to cycle.

We arrive into town and I take her to the bank,

"You want me to wait for you here?" I ask her, looking over at her, seeing her eyes glance around before she meets mines.

"Can you come in with me? I need an Italian translation. Sometimes they speak Italian when they don't mean too and I don't know what they're saying." She explains to me, I chuckle softly and put my bike away, she gets off of my dad's and I do the same with his. I rest my hand on her wrist and begin to guide her inside. Speaking for her in Italian to just get it quickly done.
