Chapter 36

I can't believe I let this happen. I let this happen to Laura. I was suppose to protect her, I ass suppose to end all of this so she could live happily again. It just happened so fast.

Flashback

Chris:(barges in with a gun in his hand)

We all stood up, shocked. Laura held me, wrapping her arms around my torso shaking in fear.
I held her close to me.

Chad: Chris, what are you doing here?

Chris:(smiles) I just wanted to see my two best friends again

Ross: Cut the crap, man. We know all your secrets

Chris: oh, do you now?

Ross: We talk to people and they gave us everything that we want

Chris: But they didn't give you want you really wanted. Laura

Ross: Because you kidnapped her, isolated yourself from everyone! We had no other choice. You could've been in Antartica for all we know!

Chris: Well at least you have your precious Laura back now, don't you?

Chad: So? What's it to you?

Ross:(holds Laura closer to him) Im not letting you take her away again

Chris:(smirks) Not until you hear her story

I gave him a puzzled look as he kept that nauseating smirk on that stupid face of his. I look down at Laura as she looked up at me, tears in her eyes.

Ross: Laura, what is he talking about?

She shut her eyes tightly as the tears rolled down her cheeks.

Laura: I just wanted to get back to you

I wipe her tears but more kept coming.

Ross: Laura (rest his hand on her cheek) You have to tell me what's happening

Laura: H-He raped me...

Ross & Chad:(eyes widen)

Chris:(smirks)

Laura:..In order to let me see you again (cries hard)

H...He raped her.
I glared at Chris as he just kept smiling like he did nothing wrong.

Chris: What's wrong buddy? Not happy to see me?

I got so mad that I wasn't thinking properly. I charged at him, weaponless.
As I charged he laughed and shot me in the shoulder. Laura screams as I tumble down to the floor holding onto my shoulder.

Chris:(looks at him serious) You should be glad that I shot you in the shoulder and no where else

I groan in agony as two bulky guys come in behind Chris.

Chris: I'd like you to meet Antonio & Martin. (Snaps his fingers) Go get them boys

Antonio grabbed Chad and Martin grabbed Laura.

Laura: Ross! Ross!!

I wanted to get up and fight back but the loss of blood and weakness I was feeling right now.
Chris hovered over me and smiled.

Chris:(smirks) You just got you and your friends in dome real shit now

End of flashback

I shake my head from the recent memory that'll stay with me for the rest of my life. I pull my shirt down to see my shoulder bandaged up with a blood stain through it.
I sigh. I was am so stupid. I'm so stupid from my stupid actions that I got Chad and Laura captured and who knows what Chris did to them. I have to get out of here and find them.

I just hope I can do this right without anyone getting hurt.
