It's been half an hour now and still nothing from Chad. He's still in the living room while I'm searching food in his entourage fridge.

Ross:(impatient) found anything yet?

Chad: Nope!

Ross:(groans)

Chad: I'm working on it man, don't worry

Ross: I know you are but I just want to save Laura from her hell life

Chad: I know you do, so do I but we can't just break his door down without a plan

Ross:(shrugs) it happens in movies

Chad:(rolls his eyes) This is reality Ross not a Chuck Norris or 007 movie

I roll my eyes ignoring his comment and keep searching for food. Does this boy have nothing?!

Chad:(gasps) I GOT IT!

I run in the living room and crash beside Chad.

Ross: you did?!

Chad:(nods) She's in..... Maui?

Ross: Quick! Book us some plane tickets. I'm gonna go home pack and get ready

Chad:(nods) I'll try to get us tickets for today's flight

Ross:(nods) Great

I say goodbye and run out getting in my car speeding away home.

I barge inside the house.

Ross: MOM!

Seconds later my mom runs down the stairs.

Stormie: Honey what is it?! Are you okay?!

Ross:(shakes her head) not really

Stormie: What is it sweetie?

I spill everything to her. Day 1 to now.

Stormie: Why haven't you told me or your father about this? We could've helped

Ross: it's not your fight mom and I didn't want you guys to get involved or hurt

Stormie:(smiles a bit) We raised you well

Ross:(smiles) thanks mom so are me and Chad aloud to fly to Maui?

Stormie:(sighs)

Ross: We're trying to save Laura mom

Stormie:(sighs) I know I'm just worried and scared

Ross: I'll be fine, don't worry about me

Stormie: I have to worry about you, you're my only baby

She cups me cheeks making my face squish a bit.

Ross:(smiles and rest his hands on top of hers) I'll be fine don't you worry a single nerve of your body about me

Stormie:(sighs) just come home with Laura and Chad safely. Always call us

Ross:(nods) I'll call you though don't call me

Stormie:(nods and whispers) Okay (smiles a bit) you should go pack

Ross:(nods) I love you mom

Stormie:(smiles) I know that, I love you too

I kiss her cheek and walk upstairs to my room. I give Chad a call.

Chad: hey Ross

Ross: I'm good to go, what about you?

Chad: well my parents aren't home, they're in Virginia but I have them a call and they said I'm good to go too. They'll be paying for our flights

Ross: That's what I wanted to talk about. When's our flight?

Chad: my parents haven't given me anything yet but they'll give me a call soon

I nod my head.

Ross: Well I'm gonna go pack my bag anyways

Chad: Pack lightly, we're not gonna be staying there long

Ross: Yeah I know

I end the phone call and start packing my things in a small duffel bag.

Eating dinner with my parents at the table. Mmm... pasta. My mom filled my dad in about Maui, Laura and everything.

Mark: Be careful

Ross:(nods) I know, I will

Mark:(sighs)

Ross: I'll be alright dad

Mark: I know you will but we'll miss you so much

Stormie: It's not gonna be the same

I was about to speak but my phone interrupted me. I excuse myself and walk in the living room to answer it.

Ross: Good news Chad?

Chad: how's tonight for you? (smiles)

Ross:(smiles big) seriously?!

Chad:(nods) Yup, my parents are amazing

Ross: awesome!

Chad: you better be ready because our flight's at 10:00pm

Oh I'm ready. I'm coming Laur.
