Chapter 25

I got to Chad's house an hour ago. All we did was just play video games and eat junk food, just normal stuff that guys do.

Ross:(sighs)

Chad: what's up with you mopy pants? (Pauses the game)

Ross:(looks at Chad) it's been a while man, I don't think I can't wait any longer

Chad:(sighs) I know that you really miss her and want to be her hero but we have to wait till we get a clue and then confront Chris and take him down

Ross: What if we never find a clue. What if Chris doesn't mess up

Chad: He will, you know Chris he isn't perfect. He'll probably mess up soon enough

I sigh and nod. I just wish he messed up sooner so I could see Laura again. Suddenly ringing from a phone echoed in the house. Chad grabbed his phone and answered it.

Chad: Hello?........(smiles big)

What's he so happy about? Who's on the other end of the line?

Chad: ...... yeah, I'll give it to him

Soon Chad gives me the phone. I gave him a confused look but he just ignored my look and just put the phone in my hand.

Ross: Hello? Who is this?

Laura: R-Ross...

I haven't heard that voice in so long.

Ross: Laura... (Sighs in relief) thank god you're alive

Laura: Please come rescue me. It's been hell

Ross: Is Chris behind all of this? Where are you?

Laura: H-He went to somewhere to gamble (cries) I don't want to be here anymore, please come and save me

Ross: I will beautiful I will, where are you?

Laura: I don't know, Chris won't let me out of the house to explore or anything so I don't know

Ross: What happened to your phone? We've been trying to track it but it isn't located anywhere

Laura: that's because Chris stomped on my phone as soon as he kidnapped me from my apartment

Ross: Okay just tell me what you know about your surroundings right now

Laura: Okay well there's some pom trees, people with strong Spanish sort accents

Ross: How do you know that if you haven't been out of the house?

Laura: Sometimes Chris invites people over here while I'm stored away in "our" room

Ross: Alight baby, I'll be there soon and I'll save you, I promise

Laura: Okay, I got to go before Chris catches me talking on the phone

Ross: Alright. Chad and I will be there as soon as we can

Laura:(nods) Okay, I.... I love you ross

Just as she finished that sentence my world was just brightened, lifted, happy.

Ross:(smiles) I love you too

Soon the line goes dead.

Ross:(hands Chad his phone) Here

Chad:(takes it) what did she say?

I explained everything to Chad.

Chad: that's all she got? Pom trees and Spanish like accents?

Ross: It's not her fault she didn't have much more to say. She's been locked in the house the entire time

Chad:(sighs) but that could be all of South America and other places!

Ross: Well that's all the hints that we got for now but we gotta get more, Laura needs us

Chad:(thinks)

Soon Chad's thinking face is replaced with a big smile on his face.

Ross: I know that smile, that's your idea smile

Chad:(smiles nodding)

Ross: Well tell me!

Chad: Just grab my laptop upstairs in my room

Ross: Um... okay but--

Chad: Just go! Hurry!

I jump up a bit scared and nod doing what asked from Chad. I grab his laptop and run back down.

Ross:(plops on the couch) got it

Chad: Good, pass it

He takes the laptop and his phone and starts getting to work.

Ross: Um... what are you doing exactly?

Chad: I'm gonna track this phone down and we're gonna find Laura

Right when he said that it just brightened my day besides the phone call from Laura. We're gonna find Laura. I'll save you Laura, I'll be your Prince Charming. I'm coming for you Laura.
