"Take a seat, Mr. Agnihotri, we've been waiting for you." One of the board members said as Raghav entered the boardroom, "We'd appreciate a private conversation." Another one added, looking at his assistant, Paridhi.

Raghav nodded, looking at Paridhi as he signalled her to leave.

Once she was out and the door was clicked shut, Raghav took a seat in front of the total of ten board members, opening the button of his suit jacket as he crossed his legs.

"Good morning." Raghav started to speak, "Start, please."

"The company's policies are updated every year and you go through the changes or needed updates thoroughly." The bald guy on the very left started, "Correct me if I'm wrong?"

"Go on."

"There's a document in front of you, inspect with me." Mr Yadav said, flipping two pages of the copy of the same document Raghav had, "Page three, sixth clause, fifth component, can you spot it?"

His jaw ticked as he read the clause that mentioned the Fraternization policy, he sensed where the meeting was going.

Looking up at them, he asked, "What about it?"

"The policy has been followed strictly for years now, every policy in fact-"

"Get to the point." Raghav interrupted, leaving the document on the table as he looked at his watch.

"A relationship between an employer and an employee is something that none of us agree upon." Mr Yadav replied.

Sounds like a you problem to me. Raghav looked at them with a deadpan look, deciding to keep quiet instead of saying what was on his mind.

Mr Yadav's wife got up, forwarding an envelope before sitting down again, "It won't take long before everyone in the workplace gets a whiff of it and you know how people talk."

Raghav looked at the envelope before opening it, pictures of him and Haya dropping out of it, "I hope you are aware that I can sue every single one of you for invading my privacy like this." Raghav said, looking up from the pictures.

"With all due respect, Mr. Agnihotri, we aren't the ones who had these pictures taken, we received them from an anonymous sender a few days back." She replied, "We got these pictures inspected before getting to you."

"And after mutual understanding, we have concluded that either Miss Sharma resigns or you can stop...whatever it is between you both." One of them said.

"Discard the policy."

"This is not how it works Mr Agnihotri, we both know it."

"And if she doesn't resign?" Raghav asked.

"You step down from your position or she quits. The policy has been there for years, it will take a long legal procedure to meddle with the policy and we cannot change the policy mid-way through the year."  Came the reply.

"I fail to understand how my relationship is bothering the board members," Raghav commented, leaning back on the chair.

"Your relationship is not the only problem, the access to confidential information and the lack of privacy this relationship has can cause trouble for the company in the future." Raghav turned his head towards the sitting in the corner as he spoke.

"Are you accusing my girlfriend of possible theft of information?" Raghav raised a brow.

"Not accusing Mr Agnihotri, I have proof." He replied, "Did Miss Sharma know about the deal with Dixit Ltd?"
