“Tell me everything you've told your parents about me, from the very first thing."

Haya said as she looked at Adi, biting on the donut he bought for her on his way to her office, “Why do you want to know that?” Adi frowned, reaching for her donut after finishing his.

She picked up the donut before he could, biting on it as she went back to finishing the one she was eating earlier.

Making a face at her, he peeked into Kabir's box only to find it empty, “Did you inhale them or something?” Adi asked with a huff, sipping on his chocolate shake.

Kabir looked up, his mouth full with the donut as his hand stopped from writing, “You only gave me two.” He said.

“Will you chew first before opening your mouth again?” Adi said, his expression turning into a disgusted one as he watched him, “Be quick.”

“O-”

“Muh band rakho.” Haya interrupted.
(Keep your mouth shut)

“Why is this dumbass here anyways?” He asked Haya, looking at Kabir from the corner of his eyes.

“Ask your brother.” She sighed, “He's good with grammar, I'll give him that.” She added, “And he's matching your haircut.” She said, trying not to laugh as she looked at their haircuts.

“The only difference is, I look good with it,” Kabir added, going back to noting down the things Haya asked him to.

“Shut up and do your work quietly.” Aditya replied, turning to Haya again, “Why did you want to know about what Ma and Papa know about you?” He asked.

“I need to know.” She replied, “I have very, very serious reasons and purposes.” She added.

“Bold of you to assume I remember anything.” He rolled his eyes, “care to share your reasons and purposes?” He asked.

“No.”

“Is it about Bhai? Because now that I remember, he seemed to always take out time for weekend dinners.” He frowned as the realisation dawned upon him, “Wait, is this some kind of invisible string kinda thing?” He snorted.

“Aww, I love sweet love stories.” Kabir cooed, “Tell me more."

Both of them ignored him as their attention went to the office's door, which opened and Naina walked inside.

“Hey guys.” She sighed tiredly, “The manager is a fucking pain in the ass.” She added as she slumped down on the only empty chair left in the office.

“Wow, are all of you this hot?” Kabir asked, completely turning his chair to face Naina as she sat beside him.

“Aren't you like…a kid? You shouldn't be talking to a 26-year-old like that.” Naina scrunched her nose.

“Should I call you mommy then?” He asked.

“Tera sar mai diwaar me maarun ya table me?” Adi asked, his eyes narrowing as he looked at Kabir. (Should I bang your head on the wall or the table?)

"What's his problem?" Kabir asked Haya, "Send him away, he broke up with her, he shouldn't be interfering now."

"She's still very much my girlfriend and that's only going to change when I get to call her my fiance, Do your work now or I'll send you back to college," Adi replied, picking up Kabir's untouched milkshake.
