His fingers roamed on her back before wrapping around her ponytail, giving it a slight tug as he deepened the kiss, feeling her hand on his chest, pushing him away when as she felt out of breath, his mouth trailed down to her jaw.

Soft kisses trailed down to her neck as he pulled her closer, his hold on her waist tightening before he joined their lips again.

She held onto the railing on the staircase, her other hand too busy clutching his neck in a tight grip.

No one uses the staircase, Raghav had said to her when he asked her to meet without anyone watching, she was reluctant, not wanting to be caught but he sure was good at convincing her.

Her whole body froze as they heard footsteps approaching, Raghav was quick to pull her into the file room just in time.

She pushed him away as soon as the footsteps faded, "We could've been caught!"

"Who cares."

"The HR department." She rolled her eyes, "Stupid man." She said, walking out of the dusty room but he held her hand.

"Ab aise akela chodh kar to na jao." He pleaded, following her out, not letting go of her hand. (Don't leave me alone please)

"Aap ho hi isi layak." She replied, her actions speaking the opposite as she didn't let go of his hand either. (You deserve that.)

"Sunai diya aapko?" He asked.
(Did you hear that?)

"Kya?" Haya asked, her forehead creasing into a frown.
(What?)

"Mera dil tukdo me tootne ki awaaz."
(The sound of my heart breaking into pieces.)

She huffed hearing his reply, increasing her speed as she climbed up the stairs, her heels making a click sound with every step she took.

"Let's go and get a few more pairs of these pants after work." She heard him say from behind, she immediately turned around as he continued, "What? They fit nice." He shrugged.

"Aage chalo aap." She pointed in the other direction. (You! Walk ahead of me.)

"I kinda love the view." He replied, his hands slowly touching her waist as he stepped up, their noses touching. She closed her eyes, inhaling his perfume.

She opened her eyes a second later, "Stop trying to distract me. Start walking. Now." She shook her head.

"You're so boring." He mumbled, walking ahead of her but he held her hand and pulled her beside him, "It's only fair if you walk beside me." He said, leaving her hand as he wrapped it around her shoulders.

"Why? I am not allowed to enjoy the view?" She asked, her hand trailing down from his back.

"I can give you a good view in our room." He replied, "Minus the clothes."

"Promise?" She looked up at him.

"You bet." He winked, "Your place or mine?" He asked.

"Shut up. Adi's staying over." She shook her head, leaving him as they reached their floor, "You just want a chance don't you?"

"I should've pushed Ma off the stool when she was expecting him." Raghav scowled.

Haya gasped at his words, "Raghav!" She turned to him.

"God, that was very mean of me." He shook his head to clear his thoughts, "Sorry Ma, I didn't mean it." He joined his hands, closing his eyes.

"So out of pocket." Haya tsked, her head moving side to side in disappointment.
