I actually had this Au discussed on a discord server, but I forgot about it cuz yes... Funny shit... I made a whole damn history and explanation for Fae Beastmen and mermaids existence... And the shroud firehair genetics too :3

But anyway! Plot: As exams were coming around, so were physicall and bending tests. Riddle was sure that Ace, as the avatar, would pick the very first element he mastered: air. But imagine his utter shock when the ginger selects water for his bending exams. And done with him, Riddle decides to assign to Ace one hell of a tutor.

And yep...Ace is the avatar... Who did you think at first it was? Honest answers pls :3c

Full no one pov! And by this time you got used to it.

Now onto the bending lessons!

Title: water 101 with Floyd

"You... WHAT?!" Riddle screamed so loud, the poor passing students even tripping in surprise. Already sparks of soon to be flames were crackling at the redhead's ends of the lips as he had his teeth grittered.

"I choose water for my bending exam.. Like Deuce..." Ace defended. "But you bearly know how to bend fire! Let alone earth or water! You didn't even touch them! And people think that I tutor you earth!" Riddle groaned as he covered his mouth with his hand. "If you fail it it, then what are you going to do?! You have to pass it!" The redhead mumbled.

"Pff... It's just a bending test... I can pass it... Water can't be really that bad..." Ace swatted it off. "You don't understand... Don't you?! Deuce cannot tuturor you... I cannot do it... Nor Trey or Cater..." "Wha?! Deuce can't tuturor me?!" Ace choked on some air. Riddle only groaned.

"Deuce has already Azul as his tutor... I talked with him under the tables to take in Deuce as he usually doesn't tutor bending without some price... Azul cannot afford, nor me, to blow all of our programs just because you decided to choose an element you never harnessed in your life!" the redhead nagged as he grabbed his little teacup, taking a big sip from it. Ace shifted a bit uncomfortably in his seat.

"I thought Deuce... Could... You know... Teach me..." "You. Are. Hopeless. Mark my words, Trappola. The exam is in one month... ONE MONTH! And you bearly scratched the surface of fire bending... Learning a whole new element is... Nevermind..." the redhead groaned. "It's not like you will understand the gravity of the problem..." He mused.

"Then... What do I do?! I need someone to teach to me!" Ace whined. "Well... There is one option... But I'm dreading of him even putting foot in Heartslabyul..." Riddle mumbled. "Who?!" Ace asked. "One of the best waterbenders in the whole 2nd year, maybe the best in the school... But he is tricky..." the redhead trailed, turning onto his heel.

THUMP!

Tug tug

"Dormhead! Please! Hook me up with a tutor! I bearly know any waterbenders!" Ace whined, on the floor, as he was tugging onto Riddle's cape. "This is an embarrassing position for you, Trappola..." the redhead mumbled. "Pleeeeeaaaasssseeeeee" Ace whined as Riddle was wiggling his way through the hall, dragging the ginger after him unintentionally.
