Now! For the plot: Since their parents were dead, the (Leech) twins lived almost all their lives in an orphanage, at the birks of the land country they were in. While Jade fully accepted their fate of not leaving the orphanage at all, Floyd truly wished to go to the capital and pursue his passion for dancing. So after finally the 2 break out, Floyd wants to finally become a dancer, yet the small singer from the orchestra courses might become a problem.

A small warning for the presence of Mrs Rosehearts and her being a ✨bitch✨.

Jade exhaled as he guided the younger kids in the courtyard. Making 17 years in a few months and being in the orphanage since he was a little eel, Jade was one of the children with the longest time staying in here. Despite being extremely polite and obedient, Jade was returned each time he was almost adopted. And since he was a great swimmer, Jade would usually laze around the little lake from there,when he wasn't helping the caretakers with odd jobs.

The reason for his misterious returnings was as heartwarming as well as annoying for everyone.

"Alright! Time for the daily check, you bastards!" One of the caretakers, a very old and grumpy woman said. Jade nodded as he put the kids in the order of the height, him being at the end.

"Genevieve, Alex, Miguel... Jade..." the woman made a pause, seeing no one next to the tall merman. Jade exhaled, expecting the next sentence.

"Where is Floyd? Jade? Where is your brother?" the woman asked, already tired of the same routine. "I do not know-" Jade mused as he spotted something.

On the roof of the said orphanage, a tall boy, almost identical to Jade, was in there with a rope, balancing himself quite skilfully. Seeing that he was spotted by Jade, the boy made a 'shh' motion with his hand.

Yet he slipped off the roof, sliding down and falling in a bush with a thump. This alerted the kids who giggled along an exhale from Jade and an angry caretaker.

"Floyd! How many times do you think you can try and escape?!" The woman grabbed the boy by the ear, dragging him in the row of kids. "ow ow ow! It hurts, Miss Beverly..." the boy cried as he was massaging the hurt aera once he was let go of.

"For that... You will clean the cafeteria after dinner! Jade... You will supervise him..." "Of course, Miss Beverly..." the other boy mused.

You see, Floyd and Jade were not your typical type of brothers. They were twins with mirrored looks. Hence they liked to play the mirror trick with the children on rainy days where they couldn't play outside.

They were inseparable, hence if one were to leave, the other must tag along. That was the motive why Jade was returned so many times.

Because no one actually wanted to adopt such a wild and disobedient problem child like Floyd. And Jade would do everything in his power to stay next to his precious brother.

Jade pov:

The couple came at the orphanage, picking of course a more younger child. Genevieve was chosen and tomorrow she'll have to leave permanently with her new family.

Once the dinner was over, Floyd had to clean up everything. "Man... I hate cleaning duty..." He grunted as he was cleaning the floor. I was staying on a bench, reading a book from Miss Beverly's library.
