~Jenna's POV~

I head to work after I drop off Kenny. Once I get there, the parking lot is full. I had to wait for someone to leave so I could park. I walk in and it's packed. I look to the back and see my mother yelling into the kitchen, waving her hands around frantically as she tried to get orders out to customers. My father is no where to be seen. It's always crazy on Saturday's, everyone comes here because in my opinion, the food is amazing!

"Whoa mom, what's going on?" I ask her while putting on an apron. Rather quickly may I add. If I took my time, my mom might bite my head off... She looked that crazy and frantic.

"Just start taking orders, your dad is running late today." She tells me and I obey. No reason not to, especially when she's like this.

The day goes rather quickly. It is about 4 o'clock now and it has been slow since lunch but I'm sure it will kick back up in about an hour or so. I usually eat dinner around 4 but, not the rest of Omaha. I'm just abnormal. I lean against the counter near the register and immediately feel nervous when I see Sammy stepping out of his car. He checks his phone and then opens the door... Walking straight to me with a smile. I can't help but smile back. It's kind if cute he came to see me... Wait. Did he come to see me?

"Hey." I say awkwardly. Then looking down at my feet. I shyly fix my bun, hoping I look presentable.

"Hey." He responds casually. "So, after that burger last night, I was dying to come back. The food was amazing," he stated, leaning on the counter next to me. He wore black jeans with white converse and a dark plaid button up. His hair was styled so it spiked up, a few pieces out of place and he wore his large smile.

I couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. He came for the fucking food? Without being able to think anything else, he added,

"But I thought you were even greater than the food. So... I wanted to come by to see you." He smirked slightly, his dimples showing and I grabbed the counter to keep from fainting. He was gorgeous and smooth with the girls obviously.

Biting the inside of my cheek, I blushed. But I couldn't help but laugh slightly. "Well, I'm happy you came.." I said quietly, finally able to look him in the eyes.

~Sam's POV

I shoved my hands in my pockets, leaning on the counter. I grinned when she told me she was happy that I came. "Is this our first date then?" I smirked.

She rolled her hazel eyes, pushing her side bangs off her face.

"Too soon 17. Or should I call you Wilkinson? Maybe even Sammy?" She raised her eyebrows at me and I laughed slightly, looking away for a moment before looking back at her.

"Now you know my name, huh?" I chuckled, and she nodded, proud.

"Yep! But it wasn't that hard.. Considering you're a football star and all." She shrugged slightly, looking down at her shoes.

"Well, what's your name beautiful?" I ask, sitting on a stool and putting my arms casually on the counter. She blushed again. I could never get tired of seeing that.

"Jenna. Jenna Marie," she stated, looking at me. "I know, you probably have never heard of me but I'm used to that. I'm just a nerd who happens to love football too," she laugh and I smile.

"Well Jenna Marie, I was wondering if after your shift tonight, you'd like to come to my place? We can hang and get to know each other?" I suggested, searching her face for a sign of emotion.

~Jenna's POV

"Well Jenna Marie, I was wondering if after your shift tonight, you'd like to come to my place? We can hang and get to know each other?"

I never have been on a date before! That sounds lame but I don't date people unless I truly like them back. For some reason, I haven't had feelings towards someone until now.

Grinning stupidly, I shyly said, "I'd love to! My shift ends around 7, if that's ok?" Sam, being smooth as he is, got off the stool and replied, "I'd wait forever to hang with you."

Looking at his watch as I bit my lip, embarrassed, he looked back up at me.

"I have to go. I have somewhere to be," he said as he takes a step to the side of the counter. I nodded with a small smile.

"That's fine, I'm about to get busy anyways." I reassured him. Suddenly he stepped close, cupping my jaw. He quickly kissed my cheek, a small smirk on his face. He brushed my bangs out of my eyes before turning to walk out the door.

"See you, waitress girl!" He called without looking back as he walked through the doors and out to his car. My heart was beating way too fast and I sat in a stool, not believing he kissed my cheek.

He was dangerous. I felt it.
