Amos and Eliana overjoyed to have a full house, regardless of how different it was from their everyday life, growing accustomed to a quiet house.

Two days before they would return to Hogwarts—the Clearwaters returned to England from their short trip to meet with the minister of magic in Japan, recently elected in place of the former minister who had passed due to old age.

They had sent invitations over to the Burrow and cottage, inviting the children back to the manor for a small party—now that spring was in bloom and the garden was perfect for the warmer weather.

Astrid had returned with Cedric and her aunt and uncle before the others came, a day later.

"I don't know why you're so nervous" Astrid sighed—swinging her legs back and forth as she repainted her chipped nails a pale pink, she glanced up at Hermione as she blew on her fingers

"It's just a garden party" Astrid laughed "you can wear jeans too"

"Hosted by your parents!" Hermione stressed

"You're not still trying to impress them are you?" Astrid furrowed her eyebrows
