Song for this Chapter: Little Lion man by Mumford and sons
📍Hagrid's Hut
OOTD
If Astrid hadn't been stressed all week, she would have thought this bright June afternoon was rather splendid. The sun didn't shine terribly bright in their eyes—nor was it awfully hot out for the approaching summer. They had spent all morning and early afternoon stuck in various classrooms for their plentiful of exams—finally finishing up mid day and hurrying down to Hagrid's after lunch break.
"I can't believe they're going to kill Buckbeak—It's just too horrible" Hermione gave the unnamed pit at the very bottom of Astrid's stomach a name—reminding her what exactly she had been dreading all day
She stumbled down hill—careful to not slip from the scattered rocks and wet patches of grass around the grassy hill that led to the grounds keepers home
"It just got worse" Ron stopped in his steps—all of them stopping with him to see who occupied the large stone perfectly stood across the hut
Harry released an angry breath from his flared nostrils—making both girls believe they were the right choice to confront the three boys spying on Hargid
Astrid gritted her teeth, glaring at them "that little—her words went lost as she tucked a hand in her pocket where her wand snugly fit and strode over without care
"Now I'll tell you—Father said I can keep the hippogriff's head" Malfoy told his friends "I think I'll donate it to the Gryffindors' room"
"You git!" She hissed, hand clawing over her wand—ready to take part in a duel if he initiated one "have you such little shame!"
Malfoy turned with a smirk on his face "Come to see the show?"
"How cruel could you be!" She exasperatedly said "my goodness"
"You!—you foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!" Hermione's own hand was wrapped around her wand—held out before her as she reached Astrid's side
