OOTD:With mid August came hot days and even hotter nights that would lead to bed sheets being tossed off beds and blankets thrown to the floor as the heat grew unbearable
With summer also came balls and when August would begin to come to a close—galas and charity events filled the schedules of purebloods all over the wizarding world
Whatever it was—there was always an excuse to buy more jewelry, try on more dresses and break into higher heels
And when Lucille Clearwater announced the last ball of the season—still later in August and in the honour of her daughter—all broke into a panicked frenzy to design the best dresses all of Europe could offer
It was one of the calmest days of the month—the weather was perfectly warm with a breeze passing by to cool one down before the heat took the form of sweat droplets and Hermione Granger had slept over to join the Clearwater girls on their shopping trip
Aside from the haunting thoughts of Draco Malfoy that never left Astrid—all was well
"We should have gone to the café before hand—I'm rather parched" Astrid sighed—looking at her mother with wide doll like eyes
Lucille shook her head "we're fifteen minutes late, no more stalling!"
"Maybe a pastry would be nice too" Hermione looked over at Astrid—dragging her words out as she added an over the top sigh at the end of her sentence
Lucille huffed—turning around to look at her girls in annoyance "you'll go in and pick your fabrics and get sized—than you may leave if you'll stop chewing my head off"
"We wouldn't chew your head mama if you let us chew our breakfast" Astrid pressed her lips together
"It's not my fault you two take hours to wake up" Lucille rolled her eyes "and stop telling people I starve you both!"
