** HARPERS POV **

"So, Mrs. Goldman. I have the results." The doctor says "and I would like to congratulate you on your pregnancy."

"I'm pregnant!" I say, a smile slowly spreading across my face

"Indeed you are." The doctor says

We chat some more and schedule my next appointment. I exit the office planning how to tell Chris. I decide to go to the store a buy a cute gender neutral "I Love My Daddy" onesie.
I have them gift wrap it and I attach a little card with the ultrasound picture and a caption that says "Mommy has a late anniversary present for you" since our anniversary is 2 weeks before the due date." I feel so happy that for our 5th wedding anniversary I can give him a gift like this.

I drive back to our mansion. I hate it, it's huge for what we need. But, Chris has to keep up with the millionaire lifestyle, so we live in a mansion. I walk in and set the gift down, take my coat & shoes off, and call out his name.

I check his office, Empty
I check the lounge, Empty
I check the pool, Nobody
I check the garage to see if he took his car, All the cars are there

Then I hear sounds coming from the bedroom, sound only made when Chris and I are pleasuring each other. I walk slowly up to the bedroom, and crack the door open. I see Chris on top of some brunette slut. I drop the package and it makes a thud sound on the ground.

I guess she heard the thud because I hear her whisper

"Baby, I think someone is here."

I see chance look over his shoulder, and a wave of panic and sorrow instantly crosses his face.

"Harp, your back early."

Tears begin to stream down my face

"I don't want to see you ever again, ever."

"Harper, let me explain." He says pulling himself off the slut which I instantly recognize as his Personal Assistant Laura. "This is a mistake, I'm not even sure what happened"

"I don't care" I say turning and running down the hall. I rush down the stairs and into the maids quarters.

"Lisa-Anne please pack up any of the clothing I bought with my money and ship it to this address. Don't tell Chris." I say rushing to write the address down "Get me my coat, keys, and purse. Bring them to my car. Not any of the ones Chris bought me. Do this fast, I have to slip out the back way. Also, I want a divorce."

She nods, clearly confused. I hear Chris coming down the hall.

"Please, Thanks, Bye." I say rushing out the back door.

Luckily she followed my instructions and got me everything. I give her all my credit cards, and all the cash I have on hand as a "thank you" then I speed out of the driveway looking in the rear view mirror seeing Chris heartbroken on the front stoop. Suddenly, I remember the package. Oh, well. He will never find me where I am going.

** Chris's POV **

I stand in the front porch watching her drive off. I run to my car, and get in. I have to get her, this was a mistake. I begin to drive faster than I have ever driven, however I lost her, I lost my diamond jewel. My princess, my everything.

I make my way back to the house, I slowly go up to my bedroom, I see a package wrapped in shiny silver paper laying on the ground. It's not my birthday, or a holiday, or our anniversary. I notice a little card attached to it, I open it, I read it:

"Mommy has a late anniversary present for you"

What? I don't understand, so I open the box. Inside is an "I Love My Daddy" onesie.

"She's pregnant." I say "She's pregnant."

She has always wanted a family, I remember when I would come home from work and see her looking at baby rooms on the Internet, or how she would tell me what our future kids would look like, the names they would have, and who they would like more their Mommy or Daddy. All the memories of her begin to flood back to me.

Then I remember, I just screwed everything up. Big Time.
