"My name is Adrian."

I feel my body immediately tense up as the name rolled off his tongue. For a second, it felt like I couldn't even breathe— that someone was closing my airway.

Did I hear him correctly?

"Adrian?" I repeat slowly.

"The one and only," he gloats.

Could it be? Could this be the Adrian? The one that has been messaging Harry this entire time?

Oh my god—

Here I am again. Over thinking and working up my brain for absolutely no reason. There is probably a million people named Adrian, especially in such a dense place like New York City. What are the odds that this would be the one messaging Harry?

Honestly I question my sanity sometimes.

Besides.

Harry already explained to me who his Adrian was. That is his crazy ex hook up with who still has feelings for him.

He would have no reason to lie about it. If anything, if his Adrian was a guy that he had no intimate history with, then that would make the situation better. He wouldn't feel the need to cover it up if that was the case. Wouldn't that only complicate everything?

I really need to take a chill pill right about now.

"Nice," I murmur, trying to take my mind away from Harry for a second.

"Does my name ring a bell or something?" he ponders, raising an eyebrow. "Or do you just happen to find it undeniably sexy?"

Before I could even think of an answer, Adrian grabs my hand and raises it above my head. He then spins me, guiding me by my hand as I twirl beside him. I am normally very uncoordinated — dancing being an absolute nightmare for me — but I barely even have to move my feet with him as

He then pulls me back towards him, a captivating smile on his face. He repositions his hands on my lower back. We are even closer now, our chests only centimeters apart.

"No. I—I just have never met an Adrian before," I sputter out as blood rushes to my temples.

He then frowns, seemingly disappointed with the look in his eyes.

I raise my eyebrows as I peer up at him. "What?"

"I feel completely unappreciated right now," he hums, his smile returning slightly.

"What do you mean?" I ask, throughly confused with his comment.

"Well I thought Harry would at least mention me around you," he murmurs with a smirk. "What a dick."

I pause, taking a double take. "Wait— what?"

He shrugs, his enchanting smile still etched on his handsome face. "Your boyfriend, Aria. Tall, dark fluffy hair. Pretty green eyes. I am just surprised he hasn't mentioned my name around you at all."

My stomach twists into tiny little knots as he speaks. So Harry does know this Adrian. How? Why would he lie about this guy? I'm so fucking confused right now.

Am I going crazy?

"You know Harry?" I quiz, my eyebrows fused together at this point.
