My Mistake part 45

Jughead's POV:
Je-"Can we come in?"
Jellybean peeked her head in the door and I nodded for her to come in, she and my dad walked in and Jellybeans ran over to Betty and gave her a big hug, then she saw the ring and started freezing out
Je-"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Jughead it took ya long enough!"
She held Betty's hand and her eyes glowed at the ring
Je-"It's so pretty! It goes perfectly with your personality"
Betty blushed and smiled back at Jelly
F-"I'm proud of you boi"
J-"Thanks dad, do you wanna meet your grandchildren?"
F-"Hell yeah!"
We all chuckled and Betty handed Ashton to my dad and Juliet over to Jelly.

While Jelly and Betty were playing with the babies I pulled my dad aside
J-"Did you know that mom was gonna be here?"
F-"What? Your mom was here?"
J-"Yeah she came and was talking shit to Betty"
F-"I don't know why she would be here, I didn't tell her that Betty was pregnant"
J-"Do you think Jelly did?"
F-"I don't think she would do that"
J-"Yeah and I didn't think I would end up being a father to twins at 17"
F-"How are you doing with that?"
J-"I mean, it's still a shock but I'm adjusting to it"
F-"Good, I'll ask Jb about her telling mom and let you know what she says"
J-"Thanks dad"
We smiled and went back over to Betty, Jb, and the twins.

~2 weeks later~
Betty's POV:
We had gotten back from the hospital last week and everything had been going great, Jughead has been living with us and helping out with the babies and so has Polly. I have been working from home with my mom and everything has been great I couldn't be happier with everything that has gone on in my life.
Right now I'm finishing writing the last article for the news paper, the babies are asleep, Jughead is at work, the twins are at daycare, and Polly just got home...
P-"Hey Betty, how's the article comin?"
B-"It great, I actually just finished it and now I'm gonna go check on the twins"
I smiled and walked upstairs to the nursery and saw my 2 peaceful sleeping babies. I smiled at them then closed the door quietly and walked back downstairs where I was greeted by Polly and a knock at the front door
B-"I'll get it"
I walked over to the door and opened it to revel my dad standing right before my eyes, I tried to shut the door quickly but he stopped it and walked right in
P-"Betty who is- dad!?"
H-"Oh hello my sweet girls, how are you both doing"
B-"Dad what the hell are you doing here?!"
H-"Oh so I can't stop by and see my 2 girls?"
P-"Not when you tried to kill Betty!"
H-"Oh did I do that?"
He had an evil smirk on his face and Polly pulled me behind her all of a sudden
P-"Betty go upstairs now"
B-"What no I'm-"
P-Betty now!"
I had never heard Polly raise her voice at anyone like this before, I don't know why all of a sudden her mood changed but I did as she said and ran upstairs and into the nursery, I locked the door and stood in between the cribs. I was in their for a good 5 minutes before I heard gunshots, it woke the babies up and I ran downstairs to see who was shot and I couldn't believe it, a dead body laid right on the floor...
B-"Polly"
Tears started to stream down my face, I ran to her helpless body on the floor. I got down on my knees and started doing cpr and trying to get her to wake up but she didn't
B-"Polly no! No! You can't leave! Not now! Come on!"
I didn't know what to do, I was covered in Polly's blood and my own tears, the babies were crying upstairs, and my dad was gone. That's when Jughead walked in the door, he looked up from his phone and ran to me
J-"Betty! What the hell happened!?"
B-"M-My m-my d-dad h-he- s-she told me to g-go I shouldn't have listened! She's gone Jug! She's gone!"
I sobbed into his chest as he called 911 and they said they were on their way. He ran upstairs and got the twins then came back down and got me away from her and outside to wait for the ambulance.
Once the cops and the ambulance arrived they took Polly away and I broke down crying for the 10th time in the last 15 minutes
B-"She's gone Jug! She's gone!"
I sobbed into his chest as the police came over and started asking me questions about what happened
B-"M-My d-dad the b-black hood, he came to our house and came in, we told him to leave but he wouldn't and then my sister told me to go upstairs and I left her and her shot her! He killed my sister!"
I cried, I lost her, it felt like someone had ripped my heart out of my chest and beat it with a sludge hammer.
I soon saw Veronica, Toni, and Cheryl running towards me and Jug
V-"B!"
She ran over and hugged me then whispered "I got her" to Jughead as I continued to cry
B-"She's gone V! She's never coming back! I can't live without her!"
V-"I know B, I know, we'll get through this and won't leave you. I promise"
I nodded and continued to sob into her chest before I noticed the time
B-"Oh no, someone has to go pick up the twins from daycare. Jughead can you do it, Polly put you on the list"
J-"No I'm not leaving you"
B-"Please Jug, we all need to be together. Please just do this for me"
J-"Fine I'll be back as soon as I can I promise"
He came and gave me a kiss on the lips and handed the babies to Cheryl and Toni then walked over to his car and drove off while I turned to V and cried until I couldn't stop.
