Khushi called Ratna. Ratna's face bloomed with a smile, seeing Khushi's name flashing on her mobile screen.
"Khushi beta... how are you?"
"I'm good, Amma... what about you?"
Ratna sighed.
"I don't know what to say..."
"Did you try what I said?"
"Yeah... I did..."
"Did Arnavji know about it?"
"Of course, I did that in front of him only."
"Didn't he say anything?"
"No, beta... he said nothing..."
"Then, he won't say NO..."
"Really?"
"Yeah... tell him that you have fixed the marriage date."
"What if he gets angry?"
"Then we will stop doing that."
Ratna lost her charms. She doesn't like to stop the marriage arrangements.

They disconnected the call. Khushi doesn't want to say to Ratna about the DEAL between her and Arnav. She wanted it to be a secret because she doesn't want Ratna to observe them after marriage... which may make Arnav embarrassed.
Ratna noted down a few sacred dates from the calendar and waited for Arnav to arrive. When she heard his car sound, she got ready with the phone receiver.
"Ok, Panditji... I will ask Arvindji and Arnav and finalize the date. Thank you..."
Arnav stood for a second and headed to his room. He stopped again as Ratna called him.
"Chotte...."
Arnav looked at him without any expression on his face, as usual.
"I was talking about your marriage... you are going as if you are not related to it...?"
"What do you want me to say?"
"I'm going to fix the marriage date..."
"Are you asking my permission or informing?"
"Let it be anything... you have to obey me... or else..."
"You will leave the house... right?"
"Do you think I won't do that?"
"I won't say...because I have lost the ability to judge people and their actions long ago..."
Ratna pitied him. but...
"You can't gain my sympathy, talking like this..." Her eyes tear up.
