HALO'S POV
After a week, we decided to have a pajama party in our house. Since it's friday. Yesterday, we have to set a day when they can join me in a night! Dahil nga nakakastress ang pagiging Editor-In-Chief ng school publication ay kailangan kong mag-unwind. Dahil nawiwindang na 'ko sa mga nagaganap!
Thankfully the whole staffs cooperately according to plan. They all want to have an output before the second semester starts. Gladly before the deadline, we already folishing the magazine. After that, I treat them a small token of appreciation which is no one can say no.
An ice cream. Probably a three tubs? Yeah, three tubs. And I'm so happy to see them happily eating the ice cream after a long and tiring battle with the articles and academic battles they face through the journey. I'm also glad to know that my kids are all in good and stable condition.
I never lost communication with them, though I have certain friends I never lost communication with them asking them if they're all okay or not. Molly and Vienna talking into something when I'm smiling like a happiest mother seeing these kids laughing out their heart. They're all innocent and kind hearted person.
Halos lahat sa kanila nakausap ko na patungkol sa iba't-ibang bagay. Partikular sa salitang pag-ibig. Nakakatuwa lang dahil sa'kin pa talaga sila sa'kin humihingi ng payo. Ni wala nga 'kong jowa tapos ako lagi ang hinihingan nila ng payo. Halos lahat ng sinasabi ko saktong-sakto sa kanila.
Walang anu-ano'y lumapit ako sa dalawa. Naupo ako sa pagitan nilang dalawa.
"Luh, Doc ang bigat mo!" Saad ni Vienna habang patuloy ako nitong itinutulak ng mahina
"Bal, ang lawak ng sofa talagang dyan ka pa talaga sumiksik." Sambi naman ni Molly na nakain na naman ng popcorn
Nagtagumpay naman akong makasiksik sa pagitan nila. Si Molly na ang umusod ng kaunti para makaupo ako ng ayos.
"Tsk! Di ko alam kung anong trip nito ngayong, Tiyang!" Pahayag naman ni Vienna na katabi ko sa kanan
"Naku, hayaan muna't ganyan talaga 'yan. Hindi ka pa nasanay." Natatawang saad ni Molly na nasa kaliwa ko
"Guys, since nakapag-published tayo ng magazine gusto ko sanang magkaroon tayo ng pajama party sa bahay!" Saad ko sa dalawa
"Hoy, seryoso?" Tanong pani Vienna
"Yes, why?" Nakangiting sagot ko rito
"Ahm, I never experienced having an overnight with other house especially, my friend's house." May kalungkutan namang pahayag nito
"Eh? Siya ngayon mararanasan muna!" Masayang saad ko rito bago ito binalingan ng tingin at nginitian
"Hmm, sige. Papaalam na 'ko mamaya kay Mama pag-uwi ko. Magdadala na rin akocng damit bukas pagpasok para diretso na sa inyo after class." Sambit naman ni Molly
Kapagkuwa'y ngumiti na rin si Vienna at ipinagpatuloy ang pagkain ng ice cream. Natapos ang maghapon na kumain lang kami. Ahm no, nagcelebrate pala. I learned my mistakes from the past issue about the magazine. That's why we excert all our full effort to make and published one before the the semester ends.
In the process of being the one who left after the seniors it was a very very long tiring duty to fulfill. But nevertheless I'm so happy where I am today. I really can't imagine that one day my whole life being changed because of one instance happened. I can't really figured out that I can be this grateful. Aside for being having a not so happy childhood memories and being bullied for so many years. I'm thankful to myself that I taked the risk and start from scratch!
