***Freed's p.o.v***
"So where is Rachel today? She's usually here by now," Ever asked me from our seats at the bar.
"Not sure to be honest. She left a note this morning saying she wouldn't be at the guild until later. She must be busy today," I answered.
"I wonder what she's doing," Bickslow thought out loud.
Just then, the guild doors opened and Rachel walked in, but...
"Now I'm really curious to what she's up to," Bickslow comments.
Rachel was not wearing her usual outfit today. She was wearing a pink crop top and light blue shorts with a flowy white cardigan over top alongside short white boots, and she had her hair half tied up with a pink bow.
She looked absolutely stunning. I blushed a deep red color as I stared at her figure.
The rest of the guild also now noticing her, glanced at her in a similar state of awe.
Rachel walked up straight to the bar as Mira exclaimed, "Wow Rachel! You look amazing today!"
"Yeah, you look great!" Lucy exclaimed next to Mira also at the bar.
"Aw thanks guys," Rachel exclaimed.
"What's the occasion?" Mira asks.
"I'm meeting someone important tonight. I came to the guild to tell you guys that I won't be back at the guild until tomorrow," Rachel explains.
I frowned at the notion.
"Oooh! Good luck!" Lucy and Mira say back to her as she heads out the guild.
"Thanks!" Rachel called back with a wave before she left.
***Evergreen's p.o.v***
Freed stared at the guild doors after her with a frown. Bickslow and I glanced at Freed sadly, before Bickslow patted his shoulder sympathetically.
"Sorry man. I tried to warn ya," Bickslow muttered.
Freed sighed. "It's fine," he muttered sadly, clearly disappointed.
I glanced at Freed sadly before a smirk crawled its way onto my face as I got a devious little idea.
"You know... we could see what's so special about this guy," I suggested mischievously.
Bickslow smiles evilly at the idea.
"No. No," Freed said, disagreeing at the very idea his two mischievous companions had come up with.
"Come on Freed, don't you want to see what was so interesting about this guy that gained Rachel's attention?" Bickslow taunts.
"Well, yes but-"
"What are we doing?" Natsu asks curiously, joining in on the conversation as he approached us alongside Levy, Gajeel, and the rest of Team Natsu.
"Spying on Rachel's date," Mira says in a sing-song voice.
"Rachel got a date with Freed?" Gray questions confused.
"No, it was with someone else. That's why we're spying on her. We wanted to see what was so special about this guy that piqued her interest," Lucy explains.
"Sounds like fun!" Natsu shouts.
"Count me in," Gajeel agrees.
"We'll have to find out where the date is though, so we'll need to-" Lucy starts.
