A/N: So, this is not my image, (credit to the artist), but I had to include it since this was my inspiration behind this little Freed arc. Anyway, enjoy the chapter!

***Rachel's p.o.v***

"I have a plan."

Freed charges at us and we together attack back, charging at Freed. As the others charge Freed, I disappear and go for the Demon-Tamer mage. Freed notices and intercepts me, forcing me to fight him.

***Laxus's p.o.v***

"Heh- heh, if you think it'll be that easy to attack me, then your sadly mistaken," the Demon-Tamer sneers.

"Oh, that wasn't the plan," I say as Bickslow, Ever, and I, blast him with a powerful blast of magic energy, sending him through the wall into the next room.

"The plan was for us to have you alllll to ourselves," I chuckle cracking my knuckles, grinning wickedly at his shocked face. 'I have to admit kid, great plan.'

***Flashback***

"Alright here's the plan, we will all together attack Freed, charging at him. When this happens, I will break off to attack the leader guy," Rachel explains.

"Won't Freed notice and break off to attack you?" Bickslow questions.

"Yup. That's what I'm counting on. When he comes for me, I will take on Freed myself and keep him busy. While you guys take the opportunity to go after the leader guy, hitting him hard enough to send him to the next room. That will leave him out of Freed's sight, making it easier for me to deal a large blast on Freed, as well as leaving the Demon-Tamer mage up to you guys to defeat. He should be pretty helpless without a demon to control. Once you defeat him, this will cause his hold on Freed to become unstable, allowing Bickslow to use his magic to help free Freed," Rachel confidently explains.

***Flashback end**

'That kid is definitely smarter than she looks,' I thought.

***Rachel's p.o.v***

Freed tackles me away from the Demon-Tamer mage. I knock him off of me and throw an attack at him, forcing him back. I hear a small explosion behind me, and a smile is forced onto my face. Freed immediately reacts and speeds towards me attempting to get back to the Demon-Tamer mage. I charge up my magic in my hands muttering, "Sorry Freed." Before I shout, "Spirit Beam!" releasing a beam of white light magic at Freed, hitting him dead on, blasting him through the wall behind him. I pant and hiss in pain as the spell shocks me back a bit at the extreme magic drain.

A couple seconds later, the Demon- Tamer mage comes flying back through the hole in the wall, onto to the floor a few feet away from me. The Demon- Tamer tries to get up, only to fall back down again, unconscious. Laxus, Evergreen, and Bickslow appear beside me with triumphant looks on their faces.

A loud roar focuses our attention to the hole in the wall in front of me. Freed is clutching his head as he is trying to fight over control of himself. Bickslow uses his figure eyes magic to try to help Freed. "It's not enough! We need to help him snap out of it!" Bickslow shouts.

"Come on Freed!" – Evergreen

"Snap out of it man!"- Laxus

"Freed, you can do it! We believe in you! Show us your power as a Fairytail wizard!" I yell to him.

Freed roars and with a huge burst of light, Freed comes back, human Freed is back. Freed starts to fall before we run over there and catch him, just before he hits the ground. Freed looks back at us with tired eyes before muttering, "I'm so sorry, thank you."

"Don't mention it man. You would have done the same for us," Laxus says. We gently put Freed down and call the magic counsel to pick these guys up.

While we were waiting for the magic counsel to arrive, I brought my bag over to everyone saying, "Come over here guys, I'll patch up your injuries."

They all look back at me skeptically. "Do you know what you are doing?" Bickslow questions as he watches me dig through some medical supplies.

"Of course I know what I'm doing. I'm Porlyusica's assistant after all," I reply as I dig, not looking at them.

They all looked shocked before Laxus says, "You're the old hag's assistant?"

"I'm surprised she even decided to mentor you," Evergreen says.

"I'm more surprised she even let you near her house. She's not too fawned of people," Freed remarks.

I laugh before saying, "Yeah, she isn't too fawned of people, but she mentored me hoping it would be easier for her to avoid people if she didn't have to go to Fairytail every time someone gets hit with a table. Plus, despite what she says, she enjoys the help."

***Timeskip***

As Bickslow, Evergreen and Laxus (whom I have already patched up), round up the members of the thieves guild, I patch up Freed. It was silent before I paused bandaging his head to softly mutter, "I'm sorry..."

"What for?" Freed asks catching me by surprise. I didn't think he heard me.

I sigh, saying, "This whole thing. This whole thing was my fault. If I would've paid more attention, I would have noticed his plan sooner and we could have avoided this whole ordeal. So, I'm sorry."

Freed was silent for a moment before saying, "You couldn't have known this would happen. Even so, its thanks to you that everything turned out ok. So I really should be thanking you. So, . . . Thank you."

With that I softly smiled, as I continued to patch him up.
