A/N: Sorry it's been a while, but life has been super busy for me. I didn't want to leave you guys hanging though, so here's the next chapter right here on my birthday!!!!!

***Freed's p.o.v***

Darkness surrounded me, before finally a light broke through the darkness. I squinted at the bright light, closing my eyes before opening them once more.

Sitting up, I noticed I was in the Fairytail infirmary.

"So, you're finally awake."

Turning my head at the familiar voice, I noticed Porlyusica standing there with a look of worry etched on her face.

"How long-" I started before she cut me off.

"A week, and a week too long. We haven't found her," Porlyusica answered, answering the next question I was going to ask.

Upon hearing this, my eyes widened in fear and dread.

***Timeskip***

After briefly checking over my wounds, which had all been mostly healed aside from some bruising, I joined the others downstairs, who are currently debriefing their search as they tried to figure out Rachel's whereabouts.

I had learned from Porlyusica that for the past week while we were out, the guild has been endlessly searching for Rachel. The other guilds in Fiore have even been alerted to contact our guild if they learn anything about Rachel's whereabouts, but no one has been able to find anything.

Laxus, Ever and Bickslow; I learned had woken up earlier that day and have been helping any way they can with the search as well.

Mirajane, noticing me approach, spoke up saying, "Oh Freed! How are-"

I put my hand up cutting her off as I asked, "Nevermind me. How goes the search?"

The guild saddened.

"No good. We haven't been able to find anything," Erza spoke.

"Have you checked where she was taken?" I questioned.

"We checked everywhere around there. There was no sign of where he could've took her," Lucy stated sadly.

"There wasn't even a scent for us to follow. He must've put something up to block their scent," Natsu stated also upset.

I stared down in thought, clenching my fist as I tried to figure out where he could've taken her.

"We've looked everywhere, and we haven't found any sign of her or Valenzula," Levy muttered sadly.

"I don't suppose you know anywhere she might've been taken?" Gray asks hopefully.

"No. I don't," I muttered upset.

"I wish we had Prism with us. Then she could've shown us where she is," Wendy muttered upset.

I gasped suddenly in realization.

"Freed, there's something else I would like to ask of you," Rachel asked seriously.

"I want to give you Prism."

"What?!" I gasped.

"Freed, I'm not giving Prism to you fully. All I'm doing is giving you the ability to summon Prism. But if I'm captured, you would be able to summon Prism, who would be able to find me no matter where I was."

"That's it," I muttered in realization.

"Freed?" Ever questioned.

"What's it?" Laxus questioned.

I turned around, facing away from them as I focused my magic power.

"Prism."

Everyone gasped as a small flash of light appeared above my head before Prism appeared before us.

"Prism!" Lucy gasped.

"Freed, how did you-" Bickslow started.

"There's no time!" I stated cutting him off.

Turning to Prism, I asked her, "Prism, do you know where Rachel is? Can you find her?"

Prism nodded.

The guild smiled in relief at the news.

"Then what are we waiting for! Rachel's in trouble!" Natsu shouted.

The guild nodded in agreement, getting serious.

"One of my children has been taken. We will not stand by any longer. Quickly Prism, lead the way, we have one of our brethren to save!" Master Makarov shouted.

Prism nodded as she led the way, all of the Fairytail guild following behind her as we were prepared to rescue our long-lost friend.

'Hold on, we're coming,' I thought as we chased after Prism.

***Rachel's p.o.v***

I woke up and froze at the sound of footsteps approaching my cell.

Each day, Valenzula would drag me out and torture me. I couldn't take it anymore. My body has gone completely numb from the pain as even the slightest movement felt like complete agony. I no longer had the strength to scream, and my tears had washed away days ago. Valenzula has taken these last few days to catch up on what I missed in the last 16 years. Just when I thought his tortures couldn't get any worse.

'I can't handle it anymore. I can't take it. Please make it stop,' I whimpered to myself as Valenzula stopped in front of my cell.

Valenzula smirked as he gazed down at my trembling weakened form. "Do you know what today is?"

"No..." I croaked out an absolute fear.

"Oh yes," Valenzula smirked.

"Today is the day you die."
