Chapter 64- Spirit Force

A/N: So, no, her injuries have not just magically disappeared. I just didn't add them to the picture because I thought the picture look better without them. I just wanted to clarify that to you all so nobody was confused. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter!

***Freed's p.o.v***

I covered my eyes from the light of the blast, preparing for the attack, but it never came. Yet the light remained, except it was a different light than from the blast.

Uncovering my eyes, I widened my eyes and gasped alongside the rest of the guild.

In front of us was Rachel, except she looked completely different. She was in a pink and blue dress outfit with white gloves and boots. The marks from her Spirit Force glowed brightly across her skin, but most noticeably, giant familiar white glowing wings erupted from her backside.

"Prism?" I muttered in realization.

Valenzula widened his eyes in shock as his guild faltered a bit.

"You wanted to see my power? Here it is," Rachel glared.

I widened my eyes as I glanced at her, noting the seriousness in her voice. I gasped also upon noticing her necklace embedded into her chest.

Valenzula smirked before he laughed, a downright insane laugh. "You can't beat me! Nobody can stop me!" He laughed as he completely lost it.

"Rachel-" Lucy started.

"I need you all to listen and listen carefully," Rachel spoke up, cutting Lucy off.

"Prism and I can't hold this up for very long," she said as she shook.

"But we have enough energy for one spell and one spell only," she explained.

"Rachel, you shouldn't push yourself," Laxus whispered to her.

"I don't feel any pain right now," Rachel said as her eyes gleamed.

We glanced at her, surprised by the seriousness in her tone.

"I think he's been using my magic as a barrier. That's why none of your spells have been affecting him. If you guys can give us an opening, we can use Prism's Striker spell to rupture my magic from inside of him, giving you guys the chance to finish him off," Rachel explained, deadly serious.

At her determination, Natsu grinned.

"Sounds like a plan to me. I'm all fired up!" Natsu grinned, slamming his fist of fire into his other hand.

The guild nodded in agreement.

"We'll give you the opening you need," Gray agreed as Fairytail rushed forward into the fight.

I faltered as I passed Rachel, glancing at her trembling form as she barely held it together, before I shook my head and continued forward.

'She knows what she's doing. She'll be fine. At least, she better be,' I thought as I joined the fight.

***Rachel's p.o.v***

I took deep breaths, trying to hold myself together as I charged up my magic power.

I may not be currently feeling any pain, but that doesn't mean the injuries aren't still there.

I knew I had to be careful. I was taking a big risk doing this at all, but if I don't, they wouldn't stand a chance against him.

'I have to give them this opening, no matter what,' I thought seriously, collecting myself.

"Prism, you there?" I muttered.

"I'm always right here with you," Prism muttered, her voice echoing in my head.

I smiled warmly.

"I will be your wings. Let's finish this," Prism muttered.

I nodded.

Fairytail knocked back Valenzula's goons one after another.

Erza and Cana threw their cards and swords at Valenzula. He swat them away as he laughed.

Wendy and Gajeel launched another breath attack towards Valenzula, which he dodged, the attack hitting his goons instead.

"Juvia!" Gray shouted as he ran forward.

"Aye!" Juvia responded following behind him.

"Water Cyclone!" Juvia shouted launching a torrent of water at Valenzula.

"Fairy Machine Gun; Leprechaun!"

"Line Formation Babies!" Ever and Bickslow shouted as they aided Juvia in her assault.

Valenzula laughed crazily as he weaved through their attacks right towards where they needed him to be.

"Ice-Make; Rampart!" Gray shouted.

An extremely massive ice wall rose up and blocked Valenzula's path.

"Rachel! Now!" Gray yelled.

I zoomed into the air above Valenzula, radiating in my charged up magic power.

Right before I was about to use Prism's Striker spell, another spell popped into my mind, and I went with it.

"Spirit Mage Secret Art!" I yelled swiping my hands across me.

The petals from my necklace broke off from my chest into sharp multicolored blades which circled around me, spinning intensely.

"Scattered Petals!" I shouted as I sliced through Valenzula.

"Ahck-" Valenzula choked out from the attack as he was left utterly paralyzed.

***Third-person p.o.v***

Natsu and Laxus shot up above him.

"Fire Dragon-"

"Lightning Dragon-"

"Iron Fist!" They both shouted, pummeling Valenzula to the ground with a powered-up raging strike.

Right before he hit the ground however, Freed shot forward.

"Dark Écriture; Absolute Shadow! Electric Shockwave!" Freed yelled, slicing through Valenzula with claws of electricity, landing the finishing blow as Valenzula was knocked completely unconscious.

***Rachel's p.o.v***

My Spirit Force had disappeared as soon as I had finished my spell. I collapsed to the ground immediately, my energy completely expended.

The numbing feeling from before had worn off as pain shot up from my body intensely as soon as I had hit the stone floor. My vision blackened immediately as the lights and sounds of the explosions of the battlefield within the temple blurred around me.

There was too much light and noise, too much pain, but the battle wasn't over. I had to get up. I had to help the others.

That was when the trembling took over.

I couldn't focus with all the clamor in my brain, I hadn't even realized I was crying. The pain was just all too much.

Then I felt something.

I felt myself being pulled against something warm.

And a voice echoed through the darkness.

"Don't worry, I got you, I promise."

I relaxed against the warmth before it started to fade away.

Don't leave me.

That was my last fading thought, before the darkness enveloped me completely.
