"Why should I marry you?" you asked.

"Because I adore you!"

That was his answer every single time. When was he going to learn that adoration had to be a two way street for a happy relationship?

"That's not a particularly good reason," you replied, flicking your hair. He was annoying you with his billions of proposals.

"I can't imagine why it's not!" he pleaded.

You picked up your dress which fell to the floor. "I can't imagine why it is," you spat back, walking away.

As you walked out to the courtyard, you could hear chuckles. The prince of Asgard, Thor, sat, lounging on the stone bench beside the fountain.

"Oh go ahead and humour yourself with my misfortune," you said, picking a flower off a bush.

He grinned. "Oh how your misfortune entertains me," he retorted, chuckling.

"Alright," you said, throwing the flower at him. "Move aside."

"Yes, milady," he laughed.

You sat down and sighed. "Why is he so stupid?"

Thor chuckled. He saw the chance and took it. "Because he adores you," he mimicked.

You rolled your eyes. "Shut your mouth."

He scoffed playfully. "Is that any way to talk to your prince?"

"Yes," you joked.

He chuckled, about to say something before one of his friends came out and demanded he go to combat training.

He took you hand, kissing it. "I shall see you later."

You smiled. "Good day."

He smiled back. "Good day, milady." Then he left, getting nudged by his friend.

He took another look at you before disappearing.
