Tony

"Don't even talk to me, Tony!" you shouted as you stormed through the house. He'd been drinking and partying heavily all weekend and the entire house was trashed. "You need to sober up," you said, throwing a shirt at him but not before a little peek. Yep. Still hot.

"I saw that," he slurred, dropping the beer bottle. You huffed, completely infuriated.

"Shut up," you hissed.

He shrugged. "Jussst because I'm... Irre-Irre-What's the word? Irresistible! Just because I'm irresistible! Doesn't mean you have to be so mean!" Welcome to Tony's drunk talk.

"You're so full of yourself. Go to bed, Tony."

"Onnlyyy if you come withh me."

"In your dreams."

"Whhy are you being so mean?!"

You stepped out the door. "Good night, Tony."

It was four in the afternoon before you got a call from one very hung over Tony Stark.

"Are you sober?" you asked the moment you picked up.

He groaned. Yep. He was sober. "I'm very sober. Want to come and get me some painkillers?"

"Well, it's your fault, you know. Maybe you should listen to me next time and actually stop drinking."

He immediately began to protest. "Well it's not my fault what drunk me does! My brain isn't on!"

"Tony, your brain is never on."

"That's not very nice."

I sigh. "I don't want to have this conversation right now."

He was quick to keep you on the phone. "Wait! Baby! What if we went to the pound today! We could adopt that puppy you've wanted."

"A puppy?"

"Yeah. And you wanted to name it [enter name here] or something!"

He was clearly scrambling through his mind to find something to keep you talking to him and make you less upset.

"Tony, I'm not going anywhere with you until you promise me - and I mean promise me - that you're not going to party all weekend for the next two weekends."

There was dead silence on the other end of the phone until: "T-Two weekends?!"

"Yes. Take it or leave it."

You let him think about it for a while then; "Ok! Ok! I'll stay sober! Two weekends."

You smiled. "Then let's go get that puppy of mine!"

You met him at the pound and he stood there in a suit and very, very dark sunglasses.

"Hi," he said, wincing.

You handed him some panadol* and a mini juice popper.

Her accepted it gratefully and sculled his way through the popper. He groaned. "Thank you."

You sighed, looking at him like this. "It's ok."

He put his arm around you and he both of you walked into the pound.

"Hi. We're here to adopt a dog," Tony said, making you giggle. It was kind of funny to hear him say that with so much sincerity.

The lady nodded. "Absolutely. A puppy or a full grown?"

"Puppy please," you said, slightly unable to contain your excitement.

You followed her eagerly to the puppy section of pound, Tony following you.

She opened the last door before the puppies and voilà! Puppies!

You dragged Tony in, looking at all their very, very cute faces.

"Aww! I like this one! No this one! Oh! Tony!"

Your excitement was not rubbing off on him. He seemed to wince every single time a puppy barked.

Then you saw one.

It was in the corner, sitting and wagging its tail, staring up at you with big round eyes. You felt the connection.

"Can I see this one?"

You arrived home and instead of waiting for Tony to help you out of the car, you went and got your precious little puppy out of the car.

You snuggled with it on the couch and Tony obviously felt neglected because he eventually came up to you and pulled you into his lap.

"Are you gonna put the little guy down? Ever?" he asked, pouting.

You giggled. "No."

And when Tony tried to pull the puppy away, it growled at him. You giggled.

"Well that's not very nice," he said before attacking you with tickles.

You laughed and put the puppy down before you became completely at Tony's mercy.

He smirked at you, straddling you. "Who wins now?"

You laughed. "Ok, ok, you win."
