The smell of coffee drifted out of the open doors, infiltrating Lu Xi's nasal cavity. The scent made its way to her brain...

Lu Xi widened her eyes.

In an instant, she closed the glass doors back again, blocking off the scent that came from the inside. The action was so swift, it seemed like it was never opened in the first place.

'I forgot... I don't like coffee at all!'

That unbearable stench... It reminded her of her mother, who made coffee every single morning just to wake up.

Each time she woke up, she would smell the horrid odor that the liquid drink emitted inside their innocent looking cups and the elegant seeming machines.

Lu Xi herself didn't know the exact reason why she didn't like coffee. Maybe it was because its taste just didn't do it for her, or maybe it was because it reminded her of a certain traumatic event... either way, she couldn't see herself liking this drink anytime soon, or even in the furthest future.

"Miss..." The man was on the verge of giving up on getting the girl's attention. He was about to ask her if she wanted a coffee herself, since she came across as desperate to get inside the café.

At this moment, Lu Xi wasn't distracted by the anticipation of getting in anymore. On the contrary, she repulsed that thought. She spun around, allowing the man behind her to take a good look at her face.

Even though he saw her face already, he didn't really scan it properly since the girl seemed like she was in a hurry. Now that she turned around, he blushed, a red tinge prevalent on his face.

A Grade-A beauty, definitely!

It was a first for the man to see a Grade-A beauty such as Lu Xi in real life. He could only see these types on the internet or on television.

He was stuck in a daze, captured by the infallible beauty that the girl in front of him possessed. The man even forgot what the words on the tip of his tongue were...

Truthfully, the usual appearance of Lu Xi wasn't on the caliber of beauty she had currently. Of course, her usual messy hair and the small patches of dirt on her face didn't do her any favors. It was only when she fixed her hair and cleaned her look did she elevate her appearance to another level.

Lu Xi grew impatient, waiting for the man to speak. After a solid three seconds, she clicked her tongue and walked away.

She couldn't execute her well thought out plan as even stepping into the café was a huge obstacle. The concept of her sitting inside that hellish place filled with the smell she despised never entered her mind.

Thus, without any other options, she could only turn around and leave... and wait until the pair came out of the café.

'I can't waste the time I invested into putting on this blasted outfit! This tight waistline is killing me!'

With her rekindled resolve, she walked over to find a place to sit.

The man snapped out of his daze, but unfortunately for him, the girl he was pining for was already gone from his line of sight.

'Hai, this always happens...' The man scratched his head as he walked into the café again to reorder a coffee.
