Chap#43

Elaine's POV;

We were still at Jackson's apartment. Claire and Tyler were also here.

"Okay so first things first. Before I tell you guys how I fixed Elaine's problem, we need to tell you guys something!" Claire said excitedly

"What?" Jackson said as I looked at Claire with curiosity

"I'm pregnant!" Claire said with excitement and Tyler was smiling with joy

"HOLY SHIT!" Me and Jackson said with surprise at the same time

"You know, normally when you tell people about this good news they congratulate you instead of saying that." Tyler said

"Oh sorry. Congratulations you two!! I'm so happy!" I said

"Yeah man, congrats!" Jackson said

"Okay now next thing is to get some food!" Claire said

"Claire! What about my problem?" I asked

"Oh yeah, I fixed it. Don't worry. It's all good now." She replied

"What did you do?" I asked

"She talked to Atlas." Tyler said

"What? What did you say? Tell me." I said as I got nervous

"Relax. I told him that message was for me. And you were actually talking about how you can't keep it a secret from Tyler and everyone that I was pregnant. That is why you said you were going to tell "him". And by him you meant Tyler. See, problem fixed. And I didn't even lie. Well half lie." She said as she smiled

"Oh god." I said

"That's kind of bad." Jackson said

"What? Why?" Tyler asked

"Yeah, should I not have said that to him? He seemed pretty convinced." She replied

"Elaine was planning on using that text as an excuse to confess to him." Jackson said

"Oh...sorry. But can't you just confess to him either way?" Claire said

"I don't know....he's also kind of mad at me for something else too, which I think is my fault but I don't know why." I replied as I remembered about what Atlas said to Mike earlier

"About what?" Claire asked

"It's nothing that much. I'll handle it." I replied as I decided not to tell these guys. I still didn't know why he was angry, so first I had to find out the reason.

While we were eating, the door bell rang and Jackson and Tyler went to see who it was. Claire kept grinning and looking at me.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked

"Your lover is here." She said as I turn to look at the door and I see Atlas standing there talking to Jackson and Tyler

"He's not my lover!" I said as my face got red

"Soon to be lover. And before you ask, Tyler gave him Jackson's address. He's here to pick you up. Go with him and tell him how you feel." Claire said

Throughout the car ride, we both were quiet. He didn't say anything and neither did I. I didn't really know what to say to him. As we reached home, I was about to get out when I notice that Atlas is still sitting in the car.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"About what I said yesterday...can you forget it? I didn't mean that." He said
