Recap:

Tris' POV

I roll my eyes, ignoring his remark about cake, "Whatever. . . Why are we here, again? I didn't see you this morning."

He runs his fingers through his hair, obviously hiding something. Tobias likes to do this when either he's nervous-which he's not- or he's lying.

I give him a grief stare, "You're mendacious."

He mutters a curse word and something about Christina and her Candor ways.

"Fine. Don't tell me but this wonderful gentleman who I had a lovely breakfast with told me all about your. . . Well, let's just call it the deed." I say while inflating the truth which is I staggered down an alleyway where a factionless man wailed at me about Tobias Eaton. We didn't eat breakfast nor was he a wonderful gentleman. I don't even think he was human to be honest.

"Tris, please- Wait, what? You left this room and hooked up with some pervert to eat at a five star restaurant somewhere in this trashy, factionless part of Abnegation?"

"Something along the lines." I smirk.

"Tris, have your hormones got the better of you again or is it that your lips always look deformed?" Tobias grins.

I roll my eyes and turn away from Tobias. "Shut up, you dumb Erudite and you kiss these deformed lips."

"Two wrongs equals a positive, honey bunch."

I moan, "Dumb butt."

"Oh, bae. I know my butt is sexy but that does not indicate the right for you to constantly stare and make inappropriate comments about it." Tobias tells.

"Look who's talking, sweetheart. I guess I won't give you any private times with Tris anymore." I mention, not budging from my position.

"Fine, baby. I'll tell you but please will your deformed lips kiss my inadequate ones?"

"No."

"You're always stubborn," Tobias murmurs.

"Go on, sweeties."

"Okay, well. . . I guess he could be the one Erudite boy who got kicked out because he scored lower then all the other Initiates last year. He was very competitive but nothing really hurt him. Even when he was sentenced to leave, he wore a smirk." Tobias shrugs, not quite meeting my eyes.

I raise my eyebrows at him. "So that's all? He told me it could save my life!" I burst out.

"Are you sure it wasn't a hallucination or a dream. I me-" Tobias ponders whilst looking over my shoulder.

I snort as he gives me a death stare.

"And it was the same line from the Aptitude Test, Tris," Tobias finishes.

"Yeah. I guess so," I mumble, not quite agreeing to Tobias. But. . .It seems like there is something he's hiding. Usually, we tells each other what's on our mind - most of the time - but he has never kept something that could save another man's life. Maybe, not all of us keep our Abnegation selves like I thought or. . . Naw. That's so stupid; Tobias is from Abnegation.

"Okay," I repeat louder, "when can we leave? I guess being trapped in here has got my mind going into hallucinations or something. I don't feel hot either."

"Okay." I hear him mutter as a sigh escapes his lips and his shoulders sag a little bit lower. Tobias, then nods and begins to rub my shoulders a few times. Sighs erupt from my body as he chuckles with the sway of his upper body jiggling with each laugh. Eventually, after what seemed like hours, Tobias goes to remove his hands but I lean back closer towards him so he can continue.

He laughs. "What if I didn't catch you, Tris?"

"Then, I would transfer to Amity and meet some new boy." I state whilst grinning.

Tobias takes his hands from my back, puts them up in mock-surrender, and cries, "I need my Trissy poo."

"Mhmm," I mock as Tobias gapes at me.

"You're my life"

"Shut up," I laugh.

"I was complimenting you!" He whines.

Lynn's POV

"Okay, everyone. For the bridal shower we need the following: food, gifts, decorations, a place to have it, a dress for Marlene, etc,."

Peter takes my hand and entwines it with his muscular one. Immediately, warmth spreads throughout my body sending chills; not the cold kind but the kind that makes you feel all bubbly inside. Most people don't think I believe in love because of my hard nature, albeit I do. With this magnificent boy sitting next to me on the same rusted, metal black chair, anything is possible. He makes my mere life into something more: something worth living. I kept thinking life is a journey with no set destination but with Peter, my mind is set. Ebullience is what he gives me. Nothing seems egregious anymore, even if we are in Dauntless. I just keep wondering if something bad would happen soon since nothing can ever stay jubilant for long.

"-nn. Lynn!" Screeches a voice.

Already, I know who it is. Snapping my attention towards the drama queen, I nod and act like I am processing the information for the bridal shower. Marlene isn't here because it's supposed to be a surprise. Yet, I might tell her everything afterwards like I promised to. Marlene hates surprises so it's driving her irate since Chris will not tell her anything and is making Mar go away every time she talks about her wedding. So, basically Christina is running Marlene's wedding.
