Hidden Talent

Ellie's POV

I had  hidden talent. I could sing. Mom, Dad,& Paris only knew about my dancing skills. I woke up around 9:00 am. Everyone was still asleep. I looked over at my piano set that was never used. I walked over to it abdsat down. I ran my fingers across a few notes. I smiled to myself before I got tgw lyrics out for a song I've been working on. "Almost Is Never Enough.". I played the piano as I began to sing. "I'd like to say we gave it a try, I'd like to blame it all on life, maybe we just weren't right, but that's a lie...that's a lie and we can deny it as much as we want but in time our feelings will show, cause  sooner or later we'll wonder why we gave up, the truth is everyone knows,oooh almost, almost is never enough, so close to being in love, if I would have known that you wanted me, the way I wanted you, then maybe we wouldn't be two world's apart but right here in each other's arms  and we almost we almost knew what lovvvee was but almost is never enoughhh". I stopped playing as I smiled. Then I heard clapping. I then turned around to see Dad standing in the door way clapping with a smile on his face. "Good Morning Dad.." I said embarrassed. "Good Morning Ellie....you're amazing!" He said as he walked up to me."Thank you..but it's nothing." I said as I looked down. "That was a work of art dear." He said. "How come you never told me you could sing?" He asked me. "I was never that confident with my voice." I admitted. "You have beautiful voice Ellie." Dad said with a smile. "Thank you." I replied.  I wonder what's next.....
