After TWO YEARS….

Candice received a call from her Kuya Carlos, she was actually busy applying for a job. It’s been two years since she had left Philippines to mend her broken heart. (naks)

Napakabilis lang pala ng panahon, hindi niya namalayan, paggising niya, two years na ang nadagdag sa edad niya.

“You need to go home Candice, Papa needs you, I also need you. Ang hirap nan g mag-isa dito.” He was almost begging. Ilang beses na ba niyang ginawa ito sa kapatid, trying to convince her to go home. Actually it’s not only two years but almost three years, Candice would just say na two years dahil hindi pa naman raw umaabot sa exact three years ang pag stay niya sa Canada.

“Kuya Carlos! I am trying to apply for a job here. I’m trying to begin a life here.”

“Begin a life there? Why not begin a new life here? The last time I went there, you’re pad was a mess! You didn’t even have time to fix it.” Kapag naman kasi nagkakaroon ng oras ang kapatid ay binibisita siya nito. Inaalam kung okay pa ba siya. Which is okay naman talaga.

“Stop nagging me. Tell Papa that I’m alright, I’ll just talk to him later, ok. I have to go, Elvin is here.”

Carlos took a deep breath. Candice really changed. Matigas na ang ulo nito. Di na ito kasing sweet tulad dati, di na ganun ka masayahin, nung huling dinalaw niya ito sa Canada, animo laging gahol sa oras, laging nagmamadali. Ang tanging konsuwelo niya lang ay may boyfriend na ito…si Elvin…Kahit papano ay naging kampante na siya na nakapag moved on na ito sa dating nobyo, kay Aron Miguel…pero bakit may mali?

Actually, he is really convincing her to go home because of so many reasons, but Candice also  do have so many reasons not to be back.

Candice sighed. How many times did her brother Carlos convince her to go home. Pero natatakot siya, natatakot siyang balikan ang nakaraan.  She never dared to ask anyone about her past. Baka di niya kayanin ang mga sagot nila, everytime her Kuya Carlos would talk about him, she would interrupt. She’s blocking any information about her…ex..abut Aron Miguel. MAsakit kasi ang nangyari, malalim ang naging sugat, kaya mabuti pang wala siyang malaman na anumang impormasyon tungkol rito.

Back to work, she needs to find a job, although she also works in a private architectural firm here. Di nga lang ganun kalaki ang suweldo pero sapat na para mabuhay siya. She was trying to search the web when her cellphone rang again. It’s Loise, a very close friend of her.
