Sonic x reader: Starstruck

Everyone please take a seat, the show will be beginning momentarily!

"Ladies and gentlemen! One and all! Come round as you wont want to miss the rising of a new star!"

Walking down the street a certain blue hedgies ears caught onto the booming voice in the street. Looking in the direction he assumed the voice had come from he saw a crowd gathered further down the street in front of the shopping center.

What's all that about? He thought.

A performance wasn't unusual at the front of the shopping center, with a temporary stage being set up almost every other week. It was a local spot and was free, so it was bound to attract an audience. And Sonic found himself being a member of this audience.

Joining from the back a very girly looking white fox in a bight pink and purple outfit with puffs and frills all over walked onto the stage, with a microphone in hand.

"Hello there everyone! I'm Jasmine the Fox and here I am to deliver sweet music to all! Please enjoy!" she said enthusiastically to the crowd waving to everyone.

Who all cheered and clapped in response before the music started and she started to sing and dance.

"We started off incredible,

Connection undeniable,

I swear I thought you were the one forever."

Sonic had to admit that she had a good singing voice and that her dance was well rehearsed but he wanted to find out what this whole performance was about, so he tapped the shoulder of a pink deer in front of him he was enjoying the show.

"Sorry to bother you but do you know what this whole show is about?" he asked politely.

"Don't worry it's not a problem, this is a contest between two singers who are upcoming idols and at the end of this show you can pre-order their CD's. Whoever gets the most CD orders wins a record contract." the deer happily explained.

"And whose the other singer?" he wondered.

"Her name is (Y/N) the (A/T)." she said before going back to watching the performance.

"You're bad news, a history repeater,

You can't trust a serial cheater,

You're good at hooking up but you suck at love."

But Sonic had zoned out for a second, (Y/N) the (A/T)? He had gone to school with her, they hadn't been very close. They knew each other and worked on a couple of projects with each other but that was it.

So he hadn't seen her since they graduated from high school and from what he could remember about her she was one of the most timid girls he had ever known. So to hear she was an upcoming idol and in a competition for a record deal certainly came as a surprise.

"Thank you the dazzling Jasmine! And now welcome the lovely (Y/N)!" the announcer called.

Sonic couldn't help but blush when a cute looking (A/T) timidly walked out onto the stage looking like she was shaking a little, giving a nervous glance to the crowd. Her outfit suited her down to a T it was pink with black fills, tight fitting sleeves, long socks and sweet heels with large bows tied in her hair.

"H-hello everyone! I'm (Y/N) the (A/T) please listen to this song and enjoy!" she said to the crowd her voice progressively gaining more confidence.

Wow it's her, it's really her...

She had changed so much in a couple of years, her figure was a lot more defined and her hair was longer and that outfit really suited her. And he suddenly found himself looking forward to her performance.
