"Umma! Umma! Tell me the story again!" You wailed as you jumped on the bed

"_____! Stop jumping and I'll tell you!" She smiles. You stop jumping and got comfortable in bed, "Now." Your mother starts, "Once upon a time, beyond the North Star, is a magical island called Neverland. In this land, children won't grow old. They stay the same age as they are when they enter the island. The land was filled with joy and playful tunes and children played around and lived without any cares in the world. This land had a leader that all the children loved and cared for even if he didn't want them to. His name was Peter Pan. He fought all the bad men away. But one man, Captain Hook of the Jolly Roger, comes back again and again to pull Peter Pan from his reign. But he always failed. Peter loved coming to the human world. He finds children that are sad and bring them to Neverland to live their grand lives there forever. One day, he finds this girl, the same age as he, and finds her saddened and stressed and..."

The alarm went off, waking you from your dream. You groan as you get up from the bed. You shut off the annoying alarm and stare at the opened window that reached to the ceiling

"I'm so tired..." You say as you make your way to the window sill's seating area. You stare at the town below you and the roofs across from you. The sun shone brightly across from your window, "Well! Another day of work! Let's get to it!" You try to excite yourself and go wash up. It was 7:45 by the time you left your apartment and to work.

"Ugh..." You slam the door shut and collapse on your floor, "Why did I have to be picked for clean up duty..? Couldn't anyone else with free time on their hands do it?" You sigh and rub your neck, "I'm exhausted..." You stay on the ground for a few minutes before opening your eyes to the moonlit window sill. Sitting at the window sill in the moonlight was tempting. I'm stupid for thinking something's gonna happen if I sit at the window looking at the moon like a typical girl in a romantic movie. Too tired to think, you move to the window sill and sit staring at the white round moon

"This isn't that bad. It's almost... soothing."

Then you see something black move in front of the moon, "What the heck is that?!" It was black and it looked like the shape of a person. You lean forward, trying to get a closer look and realize it was a person.

The wind blew and you rub your eyes. When you open them again, a face appeared in front of you, "Ah!" You were startled and fell backwards, off the seat.

"Whoa there. You okay?" The boy said as he jumped into your room

"Wh-Who are you?!" You yell, backing up a little

He smiled gently, releasing much of the fear you had in you, "Name's Peter. Peter Pan." He sticks out his hand to you

"Peter Pan? As in the fairy tale character?"

"Is that how they find me these days?" He laughs, revealing perfectly lined white teeth. He moves his hand closer to you and you hesitantly take it. He pulls you up and smiles even more brightly

"You're cute! What's someone like you doing at the window sill this late at night?" He asks

"I was tired... I just sat there looking at the moon; it relieves most of my stress." You say casually. He's seems kind and friendly. Then again, it might just be my exhaustion talking.

"Do you want to go somewhere?" He asks

"Where?"

"My home. You'll meet a lot of new people that'll make you smile."
