Scott didn't talk to Avi when they arrived home, which shocked the older Alpha. The Lead Alpha always had something to say and is possibly the most outgoing person everyone knows. Why is he acting like this?

"Scott, what's wrong?" Avi asked, looking at the blond seriously. Jordyn and Melody slept peacefully, unaware of Scott's anger. "Did something happen?"

"I'll talk about it later," Scott hissed, turning to unlock the car. He widened his eyes when he saw a police car, not knowing why they were here. "Avi, why is a Council member here?"

"I don't know," Avi replied, turning off the car. He went outside and opened the car door to get Jordyn. "Let's check. It might be serious."

Scott nodded as he went to get Melody too, hoping it won't be anything bad. This Pack doesn't deserve this anymore.

Please don't let it be Kirstin and Jeremy. Them dying seemed kind of fishy to me.

Scott shook his head, not wanting to think about that; however, he knew that the couple was capable of doing that. He knew that they could pull something like that to make the Pack think they're okay when in reality, they will strike at anytime. Scott couldn't help but question if they really died when Mitch told him.

"Scott, come here. We have some explaining to do."

Scott nodded and walked up to the house, noticing how Tori and Mitch were both crying. A Council member sat in front of them, her arms crossed. She looked over at Avi and Scott and nodded, looking back to the emotional Omega and Beta.

"Are those your children?"

Tori and Mitch looked over at their husbands and let out sighs of relief, standing up to reunite with their children. Tori took Jordyn from Avi and held her carefully, sobbing quietly. She could feel Jordyn's small hands grip onto her shirt, as if she asking her to not let go.

I will never let go, Jordyn. I promise.

Mitch held onto Scott and Melody, sobs shaking his body. Scott shushed him gently but let the Omega cry. Scott handed their child over to Mitch and he took her gently, running his hands through the thin hair. Mitch cried harder, scared of losing his daughter. He couldn't lose his child, he just can't,

Please don't let her go through the pain I went through.

"My work here is done," the Council member announced, standing up. She looked over at Avi and Scott, sighing heavily. "Please leave a note whenever you take your children. These two thought they were kidnapped by someone called Alex."

The two men nodded, scared themselves. They should have said something about taking the children before they left. Now their loved ones are freaking out and most likely traumatized because of them. Scott was about to say something when Mitch's face contorted in pain and fell on his knees, Melody still in his arms. Scott sat down quickly, trying to figure out what happened.

"Mitch, are you okay?!"

Mitch shook his head, holding back a scream. Scott looked down at the small stomach and widened his eyes when he saw blood staining the Omega's shirt. He looked up at Tori, his eyes full of fear.

"Tori, he's bleeding! What's happening?!"

Tori handed Jordyn over to Avi quickly and sat down in front of Mitch. Scott took Melody from his husband, holding onto her tightly. Tori lifted the Omega's shirt, apologizing quickly when he screamed in pain. She widened her eyes as she looked up at Scott, taking out her phone quickly.
