They kissed all down the rest of the way down the hiking trail, the rain not giving them the decency of letting up at all. By the time they got back to the jeep it was dark and luckily Derek put the top on it when they parked or everything would be soaked.

"Are you ok?" he asks concerned.. "Did I do something wrong?"

"No." she sniffled with a soft smile "That was.. perfect."

"It was." He smiled giving her a soft kiss on her forehead...

"I just." She whispered out as she closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his chest and held it close to her as she listened to his heart beat "I never want to lose you again... You're... I never want to be with anyone but you Derek."

"Oh." He whispered out with relief as he tightened his grip on her and closed his eyes and smiled "I never want to be with anyone else either." He swallowed hard the emotion down in his throat and listened to her breath against his chest.. "Say it again."

"I love you."
