"Ugh." I grumbled as I threw up in the toilet, holding my stomach.
I was well into the first trimester at this point which meant morning sickness has officially crept up.
Although it wasn't only in the morning.
I was throwing up every single day all the time, making it nearly impossible to keep this pregnancy hidden.
"Uh...Jule?" Sam asked as I closed my eyes. "Yes?" I asked, wiping my mouth. "We're gonna be late." He said as I nodded. "Coming." I said and flushed the toilet. When I stood up I felt the nausea hit me again.
"Fucking christ." I grumbled and covered my mouth. I had to hold back the puke that was climbing up my throat, since I refused to let the kids be late to school.
When I walked out of the bathroom there was an eeriness in the silence of the house. "Guys?" I asked, looking around.
"Shit." I mumbled and went to look around. I looked around everywhere before I looked out to see them all sitting in the car.
"You're stupid, Jules." I grumbled then quickly made my way to the car. "Sorry guys." I said and got in the car.
"It's all good." Carter said as Juniper giggled. "Sissy, you need a buddy." She said as I nodded. "My buddy has been gone for about two months longer than he said he was going to be." I grumbled.
"He's really not coming back?" Sam asked quietly. "He is, he's just not sure when." I said, not really knowing if that was true anymore.
I was starting to get the feeling that Colby was going to just stay there. The lack of messages and calls was his way of letting me know that he had made his choice.
I was left alone again with his baby in my uterus, and four of my siblings to handle myself.
I was getting extreme deja vu.
When we got to the older kids' school, I pulled up to the curb. "Bye, Sam. Bye, Carter. Have a good day." I said as Jenna scoffed.
"Are you serious?" Jenna asked as I nodded. "Remember this is what you wanted." I said and kept my eyes forward.
I have been pretty much ignoring Jenna for the past couple days.
She made it very clear that she wasn't going to cooperate with me, so I wasn't going to cooperate with her.
"Bye, Jule." Sam said then closed the door. "Sissy do you hate Jenny?" Juniper asked as I shook my head.
"No, I love her very much." I said and started driving. "She thinks you hate her." She said as I shook my head.
"Well she's wrong." I said with a sigh. I hated that Jenna and I's relationship was tainted but she needed to learn that her actions have consequences.
When we got to Juniper's school I got out of the car then got Juniper out.
"Are you ready?" I asked and took her hand. "I wish you would smile more." She said with a frown looking up at me.
"I'm sorry, love. I just don't feel good." I said then painted a smile on my face. "Is it because Colby is gone?" She asked as I nodded.
"Yeah." I said quietly. "He'll be home hopefully soon. You've been so patient about this, I'm proud of you." I said then crouched down.
"Have a good day at school. You'll get to choose what we get for dinner, okay?" I asked as she nodded.
"Okay. Love you." She said as I kissed her cheek. "Love you, too. Have a great day." I said then stood up as she turned to go into the school.
As soon as she was gone, I deflated. It was so hard keeping myself together but I was doing my best.
