GEORGINA

I'm. Fucking. Shaking!

And I freaking don't know why among all people in here, I stupidly called Auston to come here and maybe help me calm down. I don't know! After he hang up I started questioning myself as to why I called him to come over.

But it's way too late now, he's already knocking on my door.

"Hey, you okay?" He asked immediately as I open the door for him.

I only shook my head gesturing him to come in but he didn't made any single move.

"What?" I asked.

He's the one who shake his head this time. "Nothing! You just-- you just look so stunning."

I don't know how to explain what I feel hearing those words out of his mouth, I mean not to sound cocky but I hear that compliment all the time coming from my boyfriend but then coming from him hits way too different!

Like, what the hell is going on?

"Is there way too many people out there?" I asked breathing heavily still calming myself down.

I heard him snort. "Girl, this is your party. How come you didn't know if there are many people out there or not?"

"Those are not my people, if I have a choice I won't have this kind of party!" I explained. "Hell knows how I hate this! This is all my father's idea. So I need you to come escort me the whole night, until I'm allowed to leave."

"Wouldn't that be awkward?" He asks.

I sighed, because I know that it surely is going to be awkward but I don't know why I have a sudden urge to let him carry my ass tonight.

"I mean, you have a boyfriend..." He added.

"But he's not here, so you're the substitute!"

"Oh am I now?" He remarked smirking. "No, no miss. I am no substitute! I am your husband, did you just forget?"

"Shut your mouth Matthews! Reminder, you're not allowed to blab about that tonight or else my dad will salvage you out!" I reminded.

"I was just kidding. I love my life way too much, and dying is definitely not included on the story plot!"

"Good!" I said and took a deep breath. "Now let's go."

The whole venue was pretty chaotic, in my own perspective of course. For some having people chatting around while sipping their glass of champagnes as a jazz music filling the whole place is quite alright for their birthday party, it's definitely not for me. I just want a simple and small celebration, and get surrounded with people that I actually know.

I sighed as Auston and I walk past several people, their gaze are all looking at me but I remained unfazed-- totally don't have plans on giving a smile back. I don't care if they tell me that I am such a bitch but I didn't invited them in the first place, my dad did. To be honest the only people that I invited out here is only Auston and his friends plus my mother since my dad asked me to do so.

Only them!

I tighten my grip at Auston's arms as we approach the far end exclusive corner where my Dad and the rest of the people we call 'relatives' are currently at. Liam saw us first and waved causing my Dad to look our way, I never failed to notice the surprise on his face as he saw an unfamiliar face beside me.

"Hello darling!" My dad welcomed giving me a quick kiss on the cheeks. "Happy Birthday!"

"Thanks." I responded.
