Watching Marco go the same way Sebastian went, is making me uneasy, and i shift uncomfortably on the bed.

Was it a coincidence, or did he deliberately follow him, the later making feel nervous.

Marco is not one to take the high road, or hold down his feelings, i know that much now, and Sebastian is pretty cocky too, so i would hate to think of what would happen when the two of them are alone without a third party to possibly deescalate any possible scuffle.

"Ella, look" Riley says, and i finally remove my eyes from the door to pay attention to him.

For the next few minutes, the only sound in the room, is Riley and i talking and working on some more art work. After a while, i look back to see if Mom and Sofia are still around, and i find that both of them are still in the room.

Sofia is on her phone and Mom and i briefly make eye contact before she quickly looks away again.

Things couldn't possibly be any more awkward than they are right now, and the funny thing is, this is my family, and yet, i feel isolated, unwanted, like a trouble maker.

'Ellllllllaaaaaaa, look what you made me do, you are not looking" Riley complains, as my lack of concentration causes him to spill some ink.

"Sorry champ, i will clean this up" I say, and get up off the side of the bed, to look for some tissues to clean up the ink that just spelt.

I walk into the attached bathroom, and pick up some tissues, then on my way out, i catch my reflection in the mirror.

I stop and look at myself for a second, noticing the faint redness on my neck, that can only be from Marco's kisses and bites last night, the thought of him, driving a warmth into my currently freezing heart.

I had a great night with him again, and i feel so so happy every time i'm with him. This should be a great time in my life right now, but it's not, instead i feel guilty for being so happy, when everything else seems to be falling apart. I feel like a traitor, like i'm sacrificing other's happiness for the sake of my own.

Shaking the thoughts out of my head, i walk out of the bathroom and back to Riley.

After cleaning up, and setting him up with a video game this time, i turn around and notice that Mom is not in the room anymore.

"Where'd she go?" i ask Sofia, the first dialogue we have exchanged since i arrived.

"She went to take care of Riley's discharge papers, the doctors say he can go home this afternoon, as long as we follow their instructions and keep a close eye on him." she says.

"That's great......ready to go home buddy?" I ask Ri.

"Yeah, i wanna sleep in my own bed" he replies without looking at me, his eyes glued onto the tablet.

He is looking more and more like himself everyday, and so i smile at him and turn back to look at Sofia.

I slowly walk across the room and take the spot Mom previously occupied next to her.

"So...how are you doing?" i ask awkwardly.

"Seriously?" she lowers her phone to scowler at me and i shrug.

"Look, Sof, i'm trying here...."

"Trying? Really.....how are you trying...what are you even trying?" she spits angrily.

"You don't look like you are trying to me, you are out there living your best life, after destroying mine, and you dare come here, hand in hand with him.....huh...You are such a joke. You'ld think you know someone...then they show you their true colors and you realise you don't know them at all" she scoffs and raises her phone up to her face again.
