Hello there, everyone! So, the time has finally come! After a TON of requests, Heroes Rising is here! This will be a 3, relatively short, chapters special covering the events of the movie through the eyes of our favorite Steam Powered Hero. Frankly, I thought this would take more time to write, but turns out it's actually a lot of fun. Also, I'd like to thank everyone for the 100k reads! MY GOD WE DID IT! I can hardly believe myself, so what better way to celebrate this milestone than with this kickass movie?
Now without further ado, let's get to it! Have a good reading! Kisses!

Nabu Island. A tropical paradise, far from the winter cold of the mainland Japan. A peaceful place blessed with a incredibly low criminality rate for almost 30 years, and the stage for yet another adventure in the lives of the Students of Class 1-A.
After receiving their provisional licenses, here, they work as Pro Heroes with their own Hero Agency, helping out the population of the island whenever, wherever, they're needed, from simply helping out a old lady cross the street, to keeping people safe at a sunny day at the beach.
But, you're probably wondering, where is the Steam Powered Hero in the midst of all this? By one of the more residential areas of the island, Kaito just finished a mission, a search and rescue mission of a little puppy of all things, so he's now returning the pet to it's owner, a young boy.
"Here you go, buddy. Your friend is safe and sound!" He handled the puppy back to it's owner.
"Woah! You're awesome! Thanks Atsuhito!"
"No problem!"
Suddenly, Kaito's phone rung in his pocket.
"Excuse me..." he grabbed the phone, it was the classes's Agency calling. "Atsuhito here. Sup?"
"Hey, Atsuhito!" The cheery voice must be Hagakure. "We have a call for a lost kid around the outskirts of the countryside of the island. We could use your help."
"Sure, I can go. I'm already done here."
"Awesome! Midoriya, Uraraka and Jiro will help you out in this one!"
"Sounds good. Atsuhito out." He put his phone back in his pocket. "Alright, I'm off! See you around, buddy!"
Kaito blasts off like a Steam Powered Rocket, gaining the skies. On the ground the kid waves as the hero flies away.
"Thank you! Hero!"
Kaito couldn't help but to smirk hearing that.
THE STEAM POWERED HERO! A MY HERO ACADEMIA - HEROES RISING STORY!
But even with all that, you're probably wondering; what are they doing in this island anyway? And for that, we have to return a few days in time, back at U.A High School, more specifically, the Class 1-A's classroom.
"The Hero Work Recommendation Project..." Aizawa spoke up with his notorious lack of enthusiasm. "You'll be stationed here, in Nabu Island, in southern Japan." He showed on a map. "Seems like their previous hero residents got old and retired, so the lucky residents of Nabu Island will have to depend on you untill a permanent successor arrives."
The class perked up hearing that.
"We're gonna be doing real hero work?"
"That's amazing you guys!"
"Yeah! Let's go!"
And excitement filled the room.
"I wasn't done talking yet, quiet down!" Aizawa glared menacingly. The class calmed down again. "Better... while there, you'll be completely on your own. No teachers to help you or Pros to back you up. You're responsible for anything that happens, good or bad. Keep that in mind and behave as heroes should at all times. Understood?"
"Yes sir!"
~Back to Nabu Island~
While patrolling the skies looking for the lost kid, Kaito flies by a lot of his classmates helping the people around the area with their everyday stuff. After all, a hero's job is not only to fight villains, they also help the population, to get closer with the people they protect everyday isn't less important in a hero's life at all.
Not too long after taking his mission assignment, Kaito spots the lost child at the peak of a hill, overlooking the city down below, with a beautiful look of the island. He noticed another child, a girl, and a guy with unmistakable messy green hair. By the looks of it, Midoriya was being scolded by the little girl, so he descended to make a landing.
"You're Mahoro, right? Mahoro Shimano? I've been looking for you." Kaito landed by their side, superhero landing style.
As the camera slowly climbed up, focus on the hero, the kids, and Midoriya too, even after after that happened he's still a hero nerd, gaped in awe and glimmering eyes at the hero, as the steam clouds cleared to revealed, in their eyes, a sight to behold. With visual effects and a guitar riff on the background, a real hero, a superhero, a Steam Powered Hero! That person, that presence, that epic entrance worthy of a movie, sent chills down their spines.
"A-A Hero?"
"H-He looks so cool!"
Midoriya shook his head to return to reality. "Atsuhito? You've been looking for them all this time too?"
"Actually..." Kaito grabbed his phone to show something. "Hagakure just put me in this call, a minute ago."
"Oh... I see..." Midoriya looked down with disappointment.
"See? He's a true hero, I just made the call and he's already here!" Said Mahoro pointing at the Steam Powered Hero. "While it took you slow poke a whole hour! You took so long I actually made a second call!"
"You made a second call?"
"There's Deku!" Jiro and Uraraka joined their classmates.
"And Steampunk too?"
"So, do you think you can do your job properly next time? Deku?" Mahoro smugly asked.
"Uh- yeah... I'll try to be a little faster next time." Midoriya sounded a mix of disappointment and frustration.
Mahoro walked up to the other hero.
"Thank you, Atsuhito. I appreciate your effort."
"Uh.. sure. No problem. Be safe!"
"Let's go, Katsuma!"
Mahoro's little brother, Katsuma. The little boy Midoriya, Uraraka and Jiro were looking for, approached Kaito
"Um- Mr. Atsuhito... thank you." He bowed. Katsuma then turned to face Midoriya. "And uh, Mr... thank you for your help too."
"You don't need to thank him for anything!" Mahoro pulled Katsuma by his arm. The two marched away.
"Huh? Hey, what's going on with those two?" Uraraka questioned.
"And why are you here, Atsuhito?" Jiro raised another question.
"Apparently we took too long to find them, so his sister made a second call, that's why Atsuhito is here, and why she was yelling at me." Midoriya explained.
"That's ridiculous!" Jiro voiced her disapproval.
"No, you guys are slow pokes, that's what it is!" Said Kaito, imitating Mahoro's smug demeanor.
"Huh? You can fly! You have the advantage!" Jiro retorted.
"Pff! Excuses!"
So she punched him on the arm.
"Ow! What's that for?"
Midoriya lets out a sigh of relief.
"Still, I'm glad..."
"About what?" Uraraka wondered.
Midoriya smiled. "Katsuma is safe, that's all that really matters, y'know?"
Jiro scratched her head in confusion, while Kaito lets out a chuckle of understanding.
"You know... it's amazing how Deku you can be sometimes." Uraraka observed.
"Huh, I dont understand?"
"I'm saying that you're a hero through and through!" She replied with a wink and a thumbs up.
"It doesn't get more Deku than that." Kaito added.
"Heh, Thanks guys... we better head back to the agency now."
"Yep!"
As Uraraka and Midoriya walk back to the agency, Jiro and Kaito stood back, looking at the two.
"They look cute together..." Jiro admitted.
"Yeah... you know who else looks cute together?"
Jiro blushed. "W-who?"
Kaito blushed back. "N-no one. I didn't say nothing."
"Uh, let's just head back now, Atsuhito."
"It's a long way down..."
"And? You see another way doAAAH!"
Kaito grabbed Jiro bridal style and blasted off, taking the skies once again.
"C'mon, slowpokes! Last one to the agency is a filthy villain!"
"Wha-? No fair!" Midoriya did the same with Uraraka, and with Full Cowling followed behind.
At first, Jiro was scared of the heights, gripping tight on his shirt. But one look around the beautiful scenario of Nabu Island, with the gorgeous sunset on the background, she understood why this guy likes flying so much.

Later that day, as the sun goes down and the night starts to hit, the class was chilling around the agency after a hard working day. They were surprised to recieve a visit from the residents of the island. To show their appreciation for the young heroes hard work, they brought all kinds of treats, so the class ate well that night.
As the night finally hits, Kaito goes up to the roof, for his nightly ritual, watch the stars, also, possibly overhear some idiots talking about some super secret quirk... *sigh* smh...
"So hurry up and make that quirk your own instead of his. Then we can finally have a real fight. I'll prove it to you, once and for all, I'm gonna be the number one hero and you're gonna be in my dust."
"Yeah, I'll work as hard as I have to untill this power is mine. And then I'll be the greatest hero in the world."
"Yeah, whatever. I'll be greater than the greatest!"
Kaito finally walked up to the edge of the roof to see the two idiots.
"You guys are stupid or something?"
They looked up.
"Bla bla bla bla bla. Always the same crap, ain't you got nothing else to talk about?"
"Atsuhito? How long have you been standing there?"
"...an hour."
"Why are you up there anyway? You stupid Kettle?"
"Stargazing... I'm gonna reach the stars someday, y'know? When I become a Pro... I'll create a world where heroes have too much free time." He remembered the words of Hawks. "Of course, I can't do that without you guy's help."
"Sounds stupid to me."
"Everything sounds stupid when you're stupid, Bakugo."
"Whatcha say? Get down here!"
Then, out of nowhere, appeared Katsuma.
"Excuse me..."
"Katsuma? What are you doing here?" Midoriya questioned.
"To tell you that... there's a villain!"
"A villain?!"
"Where?!"
"Alright brat, start talking!"
Katsuma explained the situation, a bigass insect looking villain had appeared in a island smaller island not too far from the main land, so the three young heroes immediately ran into the danger.
"Why are you two tagging along for? You don't even have your costumes!" Bakugo angrily questioned their decision while carrying Katsuma.
"Cuz if there really is a villain you might need backup!" Midoriya retorted.
"Like I'd ever need help from you!"
Bakugo blasts off leaving the two behind.
"*sigh* what an idiot. C'mon, Midoriya. Let's speed it up."
"Full Throttle!"
"Full Cowling!"
Midoriya and Kaito kept on advancing forward towards the villain. They arrived at what looks to be the ruins if a old fort or something. Bakugo was battling a bigass mantis looking villain.
But something was off, when Bakugo used his Stun Grenade on the villain, it didn't cast any shadow on the ground.
"Huh? Weird..." Kaito noticed that while Midoriya helped Katsuma Up.
Bakugo landed back on the ground, when the villain attacked, it slipped right through Bakugo. The explosion boy then blasted the ground for some reason, and from behind a rock came flying Mahoro. The villain dissapeared like a illusion being unmade.
"Hey! That hurt! No fair. That thing was way scary and you just stood there!" Mahoro complained.
"Oh... it's Mahoro again. So that illusion was her quirk? Impressive..."
"So I'm guessing you're the one who made that illusion..." unfortunately for Mahoro, it's Bakugo she's dealing with here.
"I- uh... how did you know that it was an illusion?"
"Cuz I'm not stupid! It didn't have a shadow!" The same that happened when Kaito appeared for the first time happened with Bakugo. A chilling, epic presence, the difference is, this one is Plus Ultra pissed. "So, you little brat. Is taunting heroes a hobby of yours?! Huh?!"
Mahoro visibly recoiled.
"Your cheap tricks won't work on me! I'm not like any other heroes you've met before! You're looking at the next number one! The guy who'll be better than All Might was in his prime! The name's Katsuki Bakugo!" *anger* "I'm telling you right now kid, you picked the wrong person to mess with!"
"Um- please don't yell at my big sister, sir."
"Huh?! You were on it too weren't you?! C'mere!"
"Stop! They're just kids Kacchan!" Midoriya held him back.
"Get your damn hands off me Deku!"
Kaito approached the kids, who were beyond scared with the explosion boy.
"I'd clear out of here if I were you..." He watched as Midoriya and Bakugo 'fought'. "That was a neat trick, by the way. Just avoid using it like this, it could lead to some serious trouble, like that guy over there." He pointed at Bakugo.
The two nodded rapidly.
"Now, we'll take care of Bakugo. You two run along."
They didn't even question it, they just ran.
Bakugo manically crawled after them.
"And where do you think you're going, huh?!"
"Stop that, Bakugo! They're just kids, calm down a minute!"
"You think I care?! I don't take orders from you!"

The next morning, everything went back to the usual stuff. Everyone up early to start another day as a hero.
"Good morning, y'all..."
"Morning, Atsuhito. Ready for another day of heroics?"
"Always... so what we got today?"
"Nothing yet..." replied Ashido with a sad look. The the phone rung, she perked up. "Hello, you've reached U.A Hero Agency!... Oh Your suitcase has gone missing? Sure, we'll send someone over right away!" She turned to the class. "We've got a tourist down at the shopping center who've lost her luggage, guys."
"I'm free! I'll go!" Hagakure volunteers. "Aoyama, you should come with me."
"Oui!"
"Geez, more lost luggage?" Mineta questioned. "Come on! Try looking for your own stuff!"
"Aww, you should've heard her! She sounded like a real cutie!"
That's all Mineta had to hear.
"I can't forsake someone in need!"
"Shoji wants to know if anyone is available to back him up at the beach?" Yaoyorozu asked.
"No problem, I'll help him." Ojiro volunteered."
"I'll see to the usual patrol." Tokoyami joined them.
"Yeah, I'll go out and do some proactive patrolling too." Said Kaito. "If you guys need anything, just call me."
"Got it! Have fun out there, Steampunk!"
"Don't worry, I will!"
Kaito goes out on his usual flight patrol around the center of the island. Along the way he finds a old lady in need of help, her cat is stuck in a tree and can't get down. So he helps out, no problem at all.
"Thank you, young hero." The old lady thanked.
"No problem, ma'am. Just doing my job!"
As a sidekick of Hawks, his natural habitat is up on a building watching the movement from a advantageous point, aka the HIGH GROUND, so he does that.
Then out of nowhere, a hot dog seller called his attention.
"Hey! You're that steam guy, from the news, right?" He had a thin voice.
"Call me Steampunk!"
"Ok, Steampunk! Can you do a loop?"
Kaito takes off, and does as the citizen requested. A perfect loop.
"Yeah!"
"Not bad!"
Steampunk continued his patrolling, but nothing happened for a while. So he headed to the place he met Mahoro and Katsuma the other day, the cliff overlooking the island.
There, he found Mahoro by herself, he found it strange, so had to ask.
"You're by yourself?"
"Mr. Atsuhito? What are you doing here?"
"Admiring the view..." he looked at the city down below. "This place is gorgeous, don't you think?"
"I guess..."
"So, where's Katsuma. Don't tell me you're trying to trick Bakugo again?"
"No, of course not! He's scary!" She looked around. "I guess he's at your agency, apologizing about yesterday, with those so called 'heroes'."
Kaito looked puzzled.
"You're not very fond of heroes, are you?"
"It's just-" she stopped to think about it, she sighed. "I'm worried about Katsuma. He thinks highly of heroes, and being a hero is dangerous! Also, his quirk isn't fit for that kind of thing."
"His quirk?" Kaito looked at his gauntlets. "Y'know... a wise man once said, 'there's no such thing as a weak quirk.' I think about this a lot y'know."
"You do?"
"Yeah... my quirk wasn't fit for a hero once, but I made it into a hero's quirk."
"Your quirk wasn't?" Now Mahoro was surprised.
"I worked hard, and with the help of my friends, my family, I'm what I am today.
"I also had a friend... he was quirkless. And even though he was quirkless, he wanted to be a hero more than anyone."
"And he did?"
"I'd say yes..." he smiled. "Look, Mahoro. It's not about how great your quirk is, it's about how you use it."
She looked at him with glimmering eyes.
"You thought I was a real hero, right?"
She pouted.
"I-I don't know..."
"Heh... I think you'll get the answers for what troubles you soon enough."
"Mahoroo!" Katsuma appeared.
"Where have you been, Katsuma?" She questioned.
"I went to see Mr. Deku. Oh! Mr. Atsuhito is here too!" He bowed. "I'm really sorry!"
"For what?"
"For what happened yesterday!"
"Hey... it's fine, really!" Kaito rubbed his nape.
"Mr. Atsuhito... what kind of hero do you want to become?"
That was sudden.
"Why are you asking this all of a sudden?" Mahoro wondered.
"Listen... I love daddy. And I want to be as cool as he is someday, I really do... but also, I want to be a he-"
Out of nowhere, a tremor stopped him before he could continue.
"Ow, woah! what was that?"
"Huh?" Kaito walked over to see what had happened. A ferry just broke through the harbor of the island.
"It crashed?"
"What's going on here?" Kaito lowered his goggles, since they're Hatsume's, they come with their own enhanced vision, a zoom of you will. He spotted four individuals on the boat, four very villain looking individuals.
"Villains? Can't be..."
One of the individuals starts to destroy all the fishing boats around the harbor, that just confirmed Kaito's suspicion.
"Ok. Definitely villains. Ok, Mahoro, Katsuma, I'll need your help."
"With what?"
"Call the U.A Hero Agency, tell them there's villains attacking the harbor, they need to get here as fast as possible, use my codename Steampunk if needed."
"But wait, where are you going?"
"I'm going to to my job as a hero, I'm gonna stop these villains!" He smiled, then blasted off to meet the evildoers.
"H-he's so cool!"
"C'mon, Katsuma. We have a job to do!"
While flying to the location, Kaito met Tokoyami, flying as well with his new move Black Fallen Angel.
"You heard that too, Atsuhito?"
"Yeah, a group of four villains have attacked the harbor, two of them broke off, one headed to the shopping area and the other towards the beach!" He pointed towards the way.
"Not very smart, but we should do the same, let's divide and conquer. Have you warned the Agency of this?"
"I hope so."
"Very well. Good luck, Atsuhito."
"You too!"
Kaito finally arrived at the harbor, where two villains were destroying everything around. One of them was a very sharp looking villain with equipment around his neck, resembling a villain he had met a long time ago. All For One. The other was a red haired woman with equally sharp attire and blades at the tips of her fingers. Let's just make this 10x easier for all of us. Slice and Nine.
Kaito landed right in front of the villains for a head on fight.
"Hello there, villains!" He aimed his quirk at them. "I'm afraid I'll have to stop you right there. Can't let you go around wrecking this beautiful island, can I?"
"A hero? This far away?" Slice was surprised. "It's just a kid, though."
"Wait, Slice..." Nine's eyes glowed yellow. "I see... we should take care of this before it becomes a problem..."
"Understood..." Slice got ready to fight, as did Nine.
"And here I though we wouldn't see action..."
