"The walls have finally stopped moving! But it's hard to tell where we are now!" Said a police officer.
"I'm positive Eri's room is located in that direction." Nighteye pointed the way.
"Irinaka! I want you to straighten up these walls again!" Ordered the police officer.
The villain tied, breathing heavily, he looked pissed with something.
"The drug must've worn off." Aizawa theorized. "Looks like Fat Gum knew what he was talking about. Irinaka's power is back to normal again."
"That's good news, but that was Toga and Twice just now. The league of villains is here too!"
"Toga and Twice..." The restrained villain spoke up, agitated. "I won't forgive! You traitors will die!" He growled angrily.
"Tell us where the other members of the League are hiding!" Nighteye demanded to know.
"I don't know! But I will find every last one of them! I won't stop untill I've crushed their skulls to dust! AAAAH!"
"I'm guessing those two are the only ones here." Kaito had just finished patching up Rock Lock's wounds with a bandage. "That should stop the bleeding." He turned to Eraserhead. "What now, Eraser? If the League is involved, then..."
"Why you fools standing around instead of acting?" Rock Lock barked out, annoyed. "The cops can deal with the League, you're wasting time, so ignore them and keep moving! Or did you morons forget our mission's top fricking priority?"
"He has a point." The police officer agreed. "That would be best."
"I'll hang tight. Someone has to stay behind to keep an eye on Iranaka. Thanks to the crazy girl with the knives I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Well, go on! Finish what you came here to do! Ryukyu, the other heroes up top, the cops, Suneater, Red Riot, Fat Gum, Lemillion, they're all fighting for us! We worked too damn hard to fail that girl now. So go on!"
Without another word they continued forward.
"We'll find her, and we'll save her! Don't worry, Rock Lock!" Said Midoriya.
They continued down the path following Nighteye's instructions, as they got closer to the objective another unpleasant surprise waited on the way. Another masked villain, using a black vest, camouflaged pants and two unmistakable tattoos in both arms. The villain was kneeling down beside one of his allies that was knocked out.
"Unfortunate. That blonde kid was stronger than we imagined." The villain spoke up.
"W-wait. I know this guy!" Said Kaito.
The villain turned around to face them.
"Devil Tattoo!"
"In the flesh. So, you finally arrived, heroes. I must admit, to get past Irinaka's quirk is quite a feat." The villain clapped, amused. "I'm impressed. But I'm afraid your little raid ends here."
"Where's Chisaki?" Nighteye demanded to know.
"The boss is right behind this wall." The villain pointed to his back. "The permeant kid gave him some trouble, heh, not anymore. He's useless now."
"What is he saying?" Midoriya questioned.
"It doesn't matter, he's on the way, let's just finish this." Kaito lets out his steam, ready to fight. Midoriya did the same.
"Now, now. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I can't let you get to Overhaul now that the product is finished!" Devil Tattoo pointed his hand at the heroes to use his quirk. But nothing happened. "What?" He looked at his hands, confused.
"Not so fast!" Aizawa glared, erasing his quirk.
"He erased my quirk?!"
Before the villain can act, both Kaito and Midoriya rushed towards him, kicking the bastard through the wall, hitting Chisaki on the other side!
The room is totally blocked by Chisaki's quirk, one look around and Aizawa had a plan.
"Steampunk, quick! Secure those who've been injured! Leave Chisaki to us!"
"Copy that!"
"Overhaul! The girl!" Devil Tattoo pointed out Eri, the only thing on the way was a weakened Mirio.
"Iroai! Grab the girl, if she gets injured they will be forced to retreat!" Ordered Chisaki.
Devil Tattoo sent his tattoo's tendrils to grab Eri, Mirio, even beat up, stood in the way but the villain quickly threw him to the side, nothing seemed to stop the villain's quirk, Aizawa and Midoriya are occupied with Chisaki! But that's when Kaito quickly jumped in front of Eri, taking the hit for her. He crossed his arms so his gauntlets would absorb the most of the impact, but that didn't stop him of getting a few slices from the sharp tattoo's blades, one of them managed to scratch him on the head, knocking off his goggles.
Eri looked up to the Steam Powered Hero in that moment, she was in tears, Kaito looked back at the little girl and saw that, all that fear that she was feeling in that moment. He sweetly smiled, uttering the magic words.
"It's fine now! We are here to save you!"
In that moment, for Eri, the steam flowing from his hands looked like angelic wings, from a guardian angel.
"Atsuhito!" Mirio was happy to see the first year.
"Damn you!" The tattooed villain growled.
Aizawa quickly erased the villain's quirk, giving Kaito a opening to get Eri to safety with Mirio.
"Thank you, Steampunk." Nighteye joined him. "Help out Deku and Eraserhead, I got em."
Kaito nodded and proceeded to do as Nighteye instructed.
"Time to wake up, Chrono!" Chisaki shouted. One of his soldiers in a white hood, who was knocked out on the ground used his quirk. A clock hand came out of his hood, going directly to Aizawa and Midoriya.
"Watch out!" Eraser managed to protect Midoriya from the attack, but was hit on the arm. The attack made him lose focus and close his eyes, for a second, giving Chisaki the opportunity to use his OP quirk once more.
Chisaki completely changed the room into an field of concrete spikes, he opened the ground and separated his soldiers, along with Steampunk, from the other heroes.
Kaito found himself in another room, right below the last one.
"This guy's quirk is insane! He changed the battlefield in a second. We need to regroup."
The hero glanced around the room. He saw Aizawa a few meters away, under the mercy of the white hooded guy.
"Eraser!" As he went to help his teacher he was stopped, grabbed by the legs by the black tattoos of the other villain.
"Not so fast, kid!" The villain swung him around, throwing him throw a wall, sending him into yet another room.
This one was creepy, the room was like a laboratory of sorts, full of medical equipment, gadgets and other stuff.
"Ow... that one hurt." He felt pain on his head. The hero glanced around the room. "What the hell is this place? Is here where they made the bullets? Poor girl." He clenched his fist, imagining what nightmares Eri must've gone through.
Back in the other room.
"Chrono, why didn't you kill this guy yet?" Devil pointed to the downed Aizawa.
"Don't worry, he's affected by my quirk, he won't move normally for another hour. The boss has interest in people with his quirk." Chrono explained. "You should take care of this one and head back to help out the boss."
"Yeah, yeah. This should only take a second."
"Need help?"
"No...." the tattooed villain cracked his neck. "This one's mine." He grinned creepily.
The villain walked through the hole on the wall.
"This time you don't have your friends to help you. You'll lose, kid."
"Aren't you going to run away, like last time?" Kaito provoked.
The room started to shake from the battle up top.
"Sounds like the boss is having some fun. So let's not keep him waiting!"
The villain sent his spiked tattoo tendrils to attack. Kaito skillfully dodged, even faster than the last time they fought. The villain was impressed.
"Can't use big attacks right now, I can hit Eraserhead if I'm not careful. Gotta think of something." Kaito thought as he dodged the attacks.
With his new speed provided by the greaves, Kaito rushed in to hit the enemy with a melee attack, the villain was sloppy and gave him the perfect opportunity to get a solid hit in. As Kaito pulled his arm back winding up a punch, when he was closed enough to hit, he had to dodge a attack coming from Chrono.
"That was close." Said the hooded villain.
"Don't be an idiot, I could've blocked that no problem!"
The two villains attacked together, Kaito used his speed and agility to dodge their attack and get some distance.
"Give up!" Said Chrono. "You don't have to die here for such a foolish purpose!"
"Foolish purpose? That little girl... I could see all what she's been through in her eyes, all that pain and suffering. I will see her safe and sound, even if it means giving my life!"
The tattooed villain shook his head.
"Tsk tsk tsk. Always the noble hero."
"Why are YOU doing this anyway?" Kaito questioned. "She's just a little girl!"
"The Yakuza used to rule this country from the shadows." Devil Tattoo answered. "We used to be feared, and respected for generations, untill the heroes came along! They put our reign to an end. I used to make MILLIONS in the black market, I used to deal with KINGS! Now I'm considered a low life criminal." He gestured his anger. "Living from scraps! Then Overhaul gave me a chance, he promised to bring the Yakuza back to its former glory!"
"He's using a CHILD to make BULLETS!" Kaito snapped.
"Who cares?! As long as I get to return to my former glory, I will do what needs to be done!"
"Your moral compass is so messed up I'd be surprised if you managed to make your way out of this room." Kaito lets his steam flow. "This madness ends now."
In a flicker, the Steam Powered Hero disappeared!
"I'll see Eri smile! You can count on that!"
"Chrono!"
Kaito kicked Chrono out of the occasion, then turned to the other villain, pointing both hands at him.
"Steam-Powered Cannon!" He yelled, sending a huge blast of steam, covering the villain, and the room, in a cloud of steam.
Kaito's hands were shaking from all that powered he just used.
"I think I went overboard a little bit... need to help out Mr. Aizawa."
Everything seemed under control, untill a evil laugh startled him.
"That was too close!" The steam cloud cleared, revealing the tattooed villain still in the fight! He was covered in a bigger tattoo, making some kind of shield!
"H-how are you still standing?!"
"After your friend's shadow in the alleyway, I had to make some major upgrades!" The shield turned into a bigass tattoo dragon with shining red eyes! Growling! It attacked!
"Crap!" Kaito barely dodged the attack. He flew around the villain attacking with weaker blasts of steam! But nothing seemed to work! The villain would just block the attacks like they were nothing! And the cramped space of the room did not help one bit!
The villain's new trick makes the fight ten times more difficult, now he's able to attack and defend at the same time! Kaito is barely able to dodge everything, getting a few cuts in the process.
He remembered what he had done in the first fight against the villain, but this time, he's gonna need to do the job of three people!
He fired one of his wrist rockets to temporarily blind the villain, closing in he used his steam blasts to keep the sharp claws at bay, he kept close to the ground to surprise the villain, when he got close enough he went for the uppercut that had defeated the villain last time, but this time, the villain was prepared. The villain blocked the uppercut!
"Did you seriously think the same trick was gonna work twice?" His tattoo dragon grew bigger. "You had a good run, now DIE!" The dragon charged with his fangs out, violently pushing the Steam Powered Hero against the wall.
"I'll head back to help Overhaul out, but first..."
"I-Is this how it ends?... My first mission? Was I not been able to help at all? No... people are counting on me! Suneater, Red Riot, Rock Lock, Eraserhead, Deku...Eri..." suddenly, Kaito's steam started flowing around his body, just like the Sports Festival.
"You're tough as nails, kid. I'll give you that! But, I'm afraid I can't let you compromise our operation here." The villain gathered all of his quirk in one arm, ready to hit one final attack.
"Ican't go down, not yet! Not untill Eri is safe! The only time a hero goes downis when everyone is safe!"
"Time to put you to sleep!" The villain attacked! But wait... something happened!
Kaito held his attack with one hand!
"What?" the villain was surprised! He forced his quirk, but nothing happened! "How are you??"
"I will not fail!" Holding his quirk tightly so his opponent couldn't dodge or run away Kaito looked at the villain with determination, his steam flowing proudly and menacingly! The images of all his friends flashed in his mind, everyone who's been sacrificing everything to get this rescue operation done."I will become a hero! And save people with a smile!" Kaito gathered his steam on a single arm! Ready to attack!
"You can't be serious!" Now the villain was afraid.
"Yellowstone..." Kaito pulled his arm back, ready to deliver a punch, his thrusters whistled! "SMAAASH!"
A devastating downwards punch to the face! The room trembled, the ground shook and shattered with the massive energy his attack delivered! The villain is down!"
