*Daisy's point of view*
I was right. The day after we found out about Nicholas Flamel from Hagrid, Hermione is making us read any book in the library we can. I'd read countless books, finding nothing.
Lessons were getting easier as the holidays approached, the winter weather was definitely kicking in. There had been some light snowfall over the past few days.
This beautiful castle has been my home for a a year now, I've worked out every little part of the castle, I'm a familiar face to all the staff around, even the ones that don't teach me.
I felt really happy. Hogwarts is my home. I'm so grateful for Severus Snape, My father. He took me on, on Dumbledore's request, and has looked after me since. I was no longer beaten or bruised on a daily basis and I had something that I had never had before Hogwarts. I had friends.
The nights are sometimes hard to sleep still, nightmares often occurred. Professor McGonagall was helping me there. I really should tell my dad, there's probably a potion out there to stop all this.
We had some tests coming up at school but I'm sure they're easy. After all, we are first years. The school was slowly being decorated, trees and christmas ornaments lay over the castle. It was stunning.
I really couldn't wait till Christmas.
