Bella woke up and once her eyes opened, turned and looked at her Prince. He was still sleeping soundly, his breathing deep and slow. Prince's POV
Prince and Bella greeted Ross who was just starting to figure out what to make for breakfast. "The whole house seems to have slept in this morning". "Yup", Ross said. "Yours are the first faces I have seen since I put the coffee on". "Well after the last few days that is understandable", Prince said. "That is for sure", Bella responded. Bella fixed coffee for the three of them and turned on Cloud Stream. They had missed the morning shows by sleeping so late but one of the news shows was on. There wasn't much happening until the Entertainment segment came on and the weekend sales of Another Chance were shared. Apparently once Sunday's receipts were tallied they had billed a total of $64,800,000 for the first run weekend. That was unheard of for a film of this type. Prince, Bella and Ross looked at each other with their mouths open. They expected that sales for Monday and Tuesday would take a slight dip per day as the beginning of the week less people went to see movies, but the pace continued to be a sold out one and was way ahead of what any of them had thought would happen. Carlos and Elaine walked into the kitchen and Prince asked if they had heard the news report...to which they responded no. He started to tell them, but then Bella changed the channel to WWKH which had a 10:00 news cast which had just started. The newscast was going to commercial but said to stay tuned for news from the Entertainment desk. Carlos and Elaine heard the news for themselves. Elaine looked like she was in shock while Carlos whipped out his phone and said if this continued they could be looking at about a half billion dollars in the American market alone. Bella sat down hard and just thought about that number. Prince said, "we will either see Christian add a lot more theaters or extend the run time for the film with the existent theaters. Either way, I think before it is through, we will see American receipts at a lot more than that. "Holy Moly" Ross said as he heated water to make poached eggs. The Security team walked into the kitchen for coffee having heard the broadcast in their rooms while dressing. "Morning all" Frank said and added, "Might as well get ready for the madness. It is on its way". Just as Bella started the toast for the eggs, Prince's phone rang. It was David and he had Andy on the phone on a three way. "Morning Prince", the two men said at the same time. "Have you heard the report on the weekend's receipts. "Yes, we just did", Prince said. "Carlos thinks that the film could do about a half billion dollars stateside". "What do you think Prince", Andy asked. "I really don't know why I think this, but I think it will do a lot more". "I agree with you" David said. I think that you are going to end up with the first Pop/Rock film to break the billion dollar mark and I think that will just be here in the states. I base that on Sunday's sales remaining as strong as Friday and Saturday and on any good film, they are normally softer. "A billion dollars" Bella whispered? "Holy Father". "That contract we negotiated is going to make you two extremely wealthy men". "I am going to let that soak in", David said "We will talk in a few days" David added as he disconnected the call. Carlos and Prince fist bumped but a lot more quietly than normal. "Praise the Creator", they said and then Prince whispered and that is in America only. Wow! Prince called David back and with the phone on speaker said he really wanted to meet with that guy that he had recommended regarding investments and tax shelters. David said he would call him and set a meeting for the 4 of them with him the day after Christmas if that would do. Looking at Carlos who nodded yes Prince said "great and thank you"! A billion dollars...wow...Prince thought again shaking his head. He was really struggling to get his head around that number.
Prince and Carlos put their phones on silent so that they could eat their breakfast in peace. After blessing the food, they ate in relative silence. The 4 were still taking in the new information. Frank and his very experienced brothers were considering how to handle the security fallout from the new level of visibility this news would create. They knew that things would change and very rapidly and they needed to be ready. Frank was really glad they had added a 5th man and he hoped that would be enough. Bella and Elaine cleaned up the kitchen while Security and Prince and Carlos met in the family room. Frank called Ray Burgess and conferenced him into their impromptu meeting. They would discuss their protocol and come to agreement on some things. Frank would have Phil walk through a Private detail gun permit for Ray so that he could be legally armed by the time of travel to The Keys. Frank would also call a friend in the local FBI office re the background check for the gun permit, although as Ray had just left the military at a Top Secret Air Combat level he thought it would just be a sign off. He would check tomorrow but Ray should get the applications from Phil today and complete them by tomorrow AM. Frank made it clear that moving forward in both the short and long term, the greater danger would be some form of kidnapping. Yes there would still be the crazy fans to be concerned with but those kind of dollar signs brought the more treacherous and ambitious creeps out of the woodwork and they should consider each of them equally vulnerable...not just their women. "Here we go" thought Prince. He spoke with Carlos after their meeting and said they needed to add decorative wrought iron fencing and automated gates to their property. It could be easily done since they were right in back of each other on sprawling land. Carlos and Security agreed and they called the realtor, Miguel Avalos to get the ball rolling. They needed the proper permits and a respected contractor. They wanted the fencing up before they moved onto the property. The fencing would take more work in the winter Mr. Avalos said, but it could be done. Good they wanted it to start near the beginning of the driveway that was furthest from each of the houses. While they were at it, they might as well get the permits for the pool and spa that they were going to add to the property among other things. Prince and Carlos had also been discussing a basket ball court of some sort. They did not need permits to put in a playground for the kids...but they would do that a little later anyway. Mr. Avlos recommended a contractor who had excellent references and a great deal of experience with the type of projects Prince was describing. He would get them to submit some drawings and some prices, He understood that the wrought iron fence was the priority.
Prince finally checked his phone and saw that he had 14 messages. 3 were from Christian whom he would call back right away. The rest were from reporters from both National and Local papers and Cloud Stream networks who were seeking an interview. He would not return any of those calls for now. He would however change his voicemail and have them call the assistant that Andy had hired. He had just hired a new one and he needed to get her name. She was going to be the one handling this type of thing going forward. When he reached Christian he found that he had called to discuss the weekend receipts for the film. It was also to let him know that they were not going to add more theaters as the movie theater owners were trying to jack up price. Instead they would stay with the 2000 they had originally engaged and lengthen the time in two week segments for 4 weeks. He was negotiating for 4 more today. They had already blown by the minimums guaranteed to the owners and they would be happy to extend this film. It would make them hundreds of thousands of dollars in profit. Plus this strategy would, Christian thought, keep the sold out status running for as long as possible. He was also in the process of arranging theaters for showing in Europe. He wanted that run to begin the week that Prince returned from Florida. He would arrange for local interviewers to speak with Prince as soon as the theater bookings were announced and again when the 4 were back from vacation. There was a lot to get done, but Prince remained firm. The success of the film was making it even more critical for them to go underground for awhile. They had to get their heads around the new normal status.
On Friday as promised, Christian sent them the itinerary for both the tour and the European and Japanese showings of the film. They were booking the venues and once booked would provide the actual dates and once those were known the US tour dates would be set.

The 4 were very quiet for the rest of the day, with each working on their own projects and more than anything trying to come to terms with the huge change in lifestyle that they were heading into. While they would have some new buying power, none of them were fools when it came to money. They were more concerned with how their ability to exist without fear of harm coming to them because of the money was going to play out. By the days end, their brains were about to blow up. They were tired of thinking, they were grumpy and they were gravely concerned. They went to their rooms early and showered and went to bed.
Satan's POV
Satan had been sulking in the lairs under the city of Detroit. He was furious that the demon he had sent to cause the plane wreck with Prince and all of those he loved on it during their flight to Los Angeles had failed. He had been discovered by some new Protector of theirs named Ray Burgess. He had heard the name before during several major battles in Afghanistan and around the Region some time ago.. He had brought down several planes with some pretty fancy aerial maneuvers and had saved many of the human monkey's lives. " I hate him" Satan screamed out loud just because he felt like it. He had sent many demons to kill him but they always failed too. So he had killed all of them, at least the ones that Ray Burgess had not. He did not like it when his minions failed him. He hated this human most because he, like this Prince monkey, had both the ear of the Creator and the steadfast cooperation of Michael the Archangel and his Warriors. He had to find a way to destroy them both. He would send several of his horde to watch them. He had heard some talk about some movie they had made making an unbelievable amount of money and he thought he might have come up with a plan to destroy Prince and that bitch of his. She wanted to have babies with this monkey. They would be as powerful as Prince himself, if not more-so. He had to get rid of them and soon. He would make a move before they could marry and start breeding. They were going to the Florida Keys. He used to like that area a lot when he had successfully created a Cocaine Crisis in the Miami Area, but cooperation between many of the South and Central American Drug Enforcement units and those of the United States had shut down their demon paradise on earth. 'I will destroy them both', he thought raging, 'and I will do it there'! Michael of course could hear the mad Demonic leader's thoughts and said to himself, 'not hardly you unholy fool. I promise you that you will lose many of your horde if you try to hurt them directly or indirectly'. Satan could not hear him, as if he had he might have thought better of it. He only had a few days to perfect his plan. He began his walk back to the lairs under Los Angeles. He wanted to talk to some of his Captains to whom he would assign the destruction of this Royal Prince. He screamed again to release some of his rage. He caused an avalanche of snow in the upper Peninsula of Michigan that killed several deer that were out foraging for food. That's better he thought as he continued to walk West. He would cause an earthquake and two tornadoes on his way there with his rage but for some strange reason, no human monkeys were killed. How he hated those that protected God's own! 'Not nearly as much as we despise you', Michael said to himself! He flew toward Los Angeles also. He would not leave anything to chance when it came to the well being of God's Musical Warriors.
