Slowly waking to the sound of someone's heartbeat, I shut my eyes back slowly because of the bright light, before opening it again, the sight of a gray painted roof appears and it made me confused since my house isn't painted gray, neither does it give this fancy vibe.
I then realize I'm beside someone and the heart beat beating on my ear, immediately looking up to see who's beside me, the sight of Kai sleeping appears and I couldn't help but freeze.
What the-
I then noticed our position, the way he had me wrapped against his chest, and the way I was my arms wrapped around his waist.
Oh my- why is Kai beside me.
I sat up immediately which makes Kai eyebrow furrow in confusion until he slowly opens his eyes.
I stared at him stunned as he slowly wakes up, his gaze meeting mine.
"Do- Do you want to die? Why are you beside me." I stutter once his eyes was fully open, nervousness taking over me.
"You are the one beside me."he simply replies.
"Uh?"
"Don't you remember?" His word makes a memory flash in my mind.
As slowly as I started remembering, the more my eyes widen.
"Oh." I say, remembering everything I did last night.
"Oh." He micmicks me then sits up, a small smile appearing on his lips, his effect on me happening again. The want to even just run my hand through his rough hair or to kiss his lips or to hug him, those feelings I had last night.
The fact that he came from me, made me wonder... What exactly does he think about me.
What am I to him?
I couldn't remove my gaze from his and neither did he remove his gaze from mine.
"If you take my money! My boyfriend will call the police on all of you!"
Some specific memory appearing in my mind clearly. Some really embarrassing memory.
"Your mine.. Okay."
Embarrassment crawls on my skin as I remember what I said. I look away from his gaze, feeling embarrassed.
We literally just got into a fight last night and the same me did all that last night!
I even went and sleep beside him in the couch. But he came back for me.. does he..
"Rose."
I then remember the way he called out Rose nake while higging me, whuch made my heart sting in any possubel way.
Jerk.
Immediately standing up from the couch and climbing over him, i rush for the bathroom but remembered i dont know where.
Clenching my fist, i furiosly turn to Kai.
"Where is the bathroom?" I ask, not hiding my annoyance.
He stares at me for what seems like forever.
Those stares, those unreadable stares, that makes my heart beat like crazy and makes me flush.
"Can you stop doing that!" I shout at him, feeling my face heat up.
Why does he stare at people like that when he doesnt even like them.
Worst part, i still dont know what those stares mean.
"Why are you shouting at me?" He ask, sitting up.
"Just tell me where the bathroom is." I grumbled, looking at the floor.
"Its upsta-" Before he can finish his sentence, i rush away from him, my gaze on the floor, anger, embarassment and sadness were my emotions and i didnt know which one i needed to express at the moment.
Rushing up the small stairs, i rush into the bathroom, shutting and locking the door, before resting my forehead on the door.
"What a jerk." I grumbled. His playing with me i swear! He is messing with me.
I never thought I'd get to this situation feeling depress because of that jerk.
Feeling a tear drop from my eyes, I immediately wipe it.
"I'm not crying over that jerk. Never." I grumbled and stand up properly, taking a deep breath.
He isn't even that great. Neither is that girl Rose.
Walking out of the bathroom, I spotted Kai folding the blankets back to where it is.
The place like no one has touch it.
Does he have a cleaning sickness or what?
The place was already clean, the bed that I scattered back to place.
After it seems he has folded the blanket, he stands up, our gaze meeting each other.
"are you going to school?" He ask, and I look away from him.
Should I going to school?
"No, you?" I ask and he shakes His head.
"No, I have to go somewhere." He answers and I nod my head in understanding. "I'll go out and buy us something to eat and what you can where." He says and I nodded in agreement. "Well.. I'll see you later." He says and I nodded.
With the awkward tension, he grabs a jacket and walks away.
Left alone, I walk around the place, looking around.
I noticed even the couch was fixed back in place, which made me feel uncomfortable in disarranging it again, cause I know he'll clean it.. Unlike Jimin, even if a lion lived there he'll leave it like that, Kia always places everything in place.
Sitting on the couch, I just on the television, folding my arm and watched whatever was on.
Hearing the door open, I immediately stand up, looking if it was him.
Once I saw him, removing his shoe, I went back to sit on the couch.
"Let's eat." Kai calls out and I follow him into the kitchen, noticing how he was already setting up the table.
I didn't know why but i felt awkward standing as I watch him do everything.
Awkwardly walking to the cabinet, I grab two cup and arrange them on the table.
He then walks to the cabinet I got the cup from, and arranged the cup before closing the open cabinet.
Why did I leave it open!
And does he always act like this? Its annoying! Can he just act dirty like every other guy! Why does he have to be so clean?
Biting my lips, I took a sit and he took a sit in front of me before bringing out the food in the paper bag which I've been dying to know what was inside.
"I bought mc Donald, and here-" He grabs the other paper bag. "Your outfit." He says, and I hesitated fumbling with my skirt before taking it.
"I'll pay you back or bring it back." I say and bite my lips hard, the awkward tension was just getting stronger.
"Its fine.. Its part of our contract anyways."
"We ended it..." I say. "I was serious when I said we should, you could still use our dating status to get Rose but I think its better if we avoid each other.." I replied then took a deep breath, before getting courage to look at him.
He didn't have a expression as always, he looked like he was observing me.
Ignoring his stare and grab the paper bag, pilling out the package food, and opening it, seeing it is pancake, I grin.
Though I could still feel his gaze on me which made me really awkward, but I kept on ignoring him, but once I started eating like crazy cause I was starving as well... I stopped.
"Same! I don't like you either you fat spoiled pork pig!"
"I'm not even fat!"
"Well you eat like one!"
Was I eating like a pig..
Dropping the fork, I took a napkin and wipe my mouth, before eating slowly, conscious of how I was eating.
"I'm sorry."
"Uh." Hus word caught me off guard, looking up to him, I raise both eyebrows.
Did I hear wrong. Of course I heard wrong.
He ribs the back of hus neck then look away, releasing a sigh.
"Nothing." He replied and pull out his food.
I wanted to confirm and ask about what he said, but I could feel he felt awkward, so I jut ignored it and went back to eat.
"I think you are cute when you eat." His word makes me freze.
"Uh.." I look up at him.
Did I hear right?
A small annoyance takes over hus face before he mumbles "Nothing."
"Oh.." I replied, but wonder if I really heard right. I'm not drunk am I.
"I said your cute when you eat." He says again and I look up at him, before glaring at him.
"You said I eat like a pig." I grumbled.
"You said I look like a monkey." He says, sitting back as he fold his arm.
Feeling embarrass since I actually really insulted him like that, I scratch the back of my head.
"Do I?" Kai ask, and I feel my cheek heat up.
"No.." I say, looking down, feeling embarrassed since I realized i insulted him an animal first.
"Then eat like you always do.. I find it cute."
My heart starts beating fast like a drum and for some reason, I can't look at him.
I just didn't know how to take his words anymore.
I shouldn't mistake his words anymore.
"Okay.." My voice came out shy even though I tired not o act shy.
Instead of eating normal, it became even harder for me to eat because of his sweet words.
And I can't help but eat even slowly and more consciously.
"I told you, you can eat like you always do! Its cute!" He laughs and I grab a tissue and toss it at him.
"I'll eat anyhow I want!" I argued back, tryjg hard not smile or show my blush.
"Why are you blushing!" He asks, that irritating smile on his face, I didn't know if those smile were mockery or admiration, everything about him confuses me.
"Just shut up!" I snap at him and immediately start putting all the pancake in my mouth.
